I couldn't find any reviews so I took the chance and bought this booster seat and I'm so glad I did! It can recline, it's slim and the cushion is soft! Plus my 5yr old daughter says it's comfortable and she can easily buckle herself in and out! Also can be turned into a backless booster seat for later age. And the latch connectors are great and secure! Definitely recommend!

When this one first arrived, I was first impressed by the fabric.. it has a luxurious feel to it and the seat overall has a sleek and pleasing style. I like the high back and padding around the head which made transitioning to a booster feel less intimidating. It was actually a pleasure to install! The rails clip right into the car which feels so much more secure than the booster just sitting on the car bench. Adjusting the seat to fit my little one was so user friendly and took less than a minute to setup and install. My daughter has been practicing doing the buckle herself and can now get it without help about half of the time with this seat. I'm grateful that this will likely be our last car seat/booster since this one also will transition into a backless booster seat when we're ready for that step. Upon first receipt of the booster seat, I was very much impressed with the construction, feel and look of the seat. The color was neutral and could be used for any gender child, which is a plus, as well. When I installed the booster seat into the car, it was super easy and did not require a lot of thought or work to get it placed into the car. The booster was also very lightweight and easy to switch between vehicles. I used the booster with both the back and backless with my child. She was very comfortable with both. Since she is getting older, we will likely opt to use the backless booster more often, but both styles are perfectly fine. Lastly, our favorite feature was the cup holder. My child really enjoyed having her "own" cup holder attached to the seat. Both my child and I really like the booster seat and would highly recommend to others.

My daughter couldn't stop talking about how comfortable it was compared to her other car seat. We just got a second car and the timing of this new booster could not have been more serendipitous! I wish I knew about this booster seat sooner!! Truly!! In our other car, we have the UppaBaby booster, and while I received this Maxi Cosi Rodi Sport for testing as part of the stellar product testing panel, I will be buying a second to replace our Nuna. I kid you not— this thing is plush, comfy, has arm rests and a sturdy cup holder (our other one broke off in a week). To have a 6 year old say anything (let alone anything positive!) about a booster is wild to me. Don't sleep on this and don't waste your money on any other product. 10/10 would recommend for any of my friends and their kids.

Upon opening the box, my first impression was how plush the seat felt without being too heavy or bulky. It was extremely easy to assemble and my child said it was the most comfortable seat they had ever had! I love that I am able to easily detach the back of the booster to turn it into a backless booster, all while still being secured in the seat by the rigid seat anchors. It was extremely easy to install and does NOT have the top tether which can be a hassle in specific vehicles. It takes up little space in the backseat so there is plenty of room to fit other seats for multiple children. The back of the booster has a one handed height adjustment which made it very easy to find a proper and comfortable fit for my 7 year old. The belt sits at just the right height without any struggle. I love all of the aspects about this seat, but my favorite feature is the rigid bottom anchors. They are so simple and easy to pull out and click into the vehicle supports, it practically installs itself! It seems so much more secure to have the seat anchored at the bottom, unlike traditional boosters which can slide around easily on the car seat. It feels like a much safer and more premium option for a booster. I will reccomend to all of my friends, and would definitely purchase another!

This booster was a disappointment comparing to the Rodifix BUT I do still love the lower anchors to keep the booster in place all the time and that it can be backless. I got this as a narrow option for a tricky back seat configuration. The arm rests/belt guides do hinder the usability for the kids to buckle themselves in tighter spaces but the back doesn't stick out too wide which is nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Maxi Cosi Rodi Sport is a great booster seat for our family because of its longevity and versatility. I love that it can convert from a traditional booster to a backless booster - and the conversion process is super simple. I have a tall 7 year old and a short 4 year old and I love that this seat will be able to grow along with them and can easily be swapped between them. Installation of this booster with the LATCH system was simple. Adjusting the headrest height was also simple and my daughter loves that this booster comes with a cupholder! I love that the cupholder is removable and can attach onto either side. So far the only downside of this booster that I've noticed is that the seatbelt sometimes pops out of the belt-positioning guide in the headrest. However, this has happened with literally every booster that we've tried! Also, the manual says that the belt-positioning guide isn't necessary to use as long as the shoulder belt is correctly positioned on the child's shoulder/chest, so it's really not a big deal at all. The fabric on this booster is nice and I love that it can be machine washed and dried. My kids love eating snacks in the car so washability is crucial for me. Overall I'm very satisfied with the Maxi Cosi Rodi Sport and plan to use it for many years to come! I received this car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

We were very excited to about this booster seat because of its ability to transition from a high back booster to a backless booster. My child's last high back booster could not transition to backless and got a crack in the foam around the head so became totally unusable, so I love that there's flexibility with this seat. The booster seat arrived in a box that was a little banged up, but it was packaged well so there was no damage to the seat. The provided instructions were very clear, and it was super easy to install. My husband installed it in the car and thought install was very straightforward, but one of the latches kept retracting during install. Ultimately, he was able to fairly quickly achieve a good fit. My child says the seat is comfortable, but he's had a little more trouble buckling himself than his previous high back booster. The cup holder can easily be installed on either side of the seat, but my child previously had two cup holders so is missing a second cup holder. The cover is staying on very well and has snaps to secure it in place—I love this feature after struggling with other car seat covers slipping down. Ultimately, we are mostly very satisfied with the booster but wish independent buckling was easier and that there was a second cup holder.

This booster is great for being able to grow with my child from high back booster to traditional booster seat. The latches are simple to use. I appreciate the cup holder that can be placed on either side depending on where it is in the car. My 6 year old found the seat comfortable to sit in. The downsides I found were that the latch that is closest to the outside if the car can be difficult to get to when it's connected, as you need space to the side of the latch. Additionally, there is no tether like I am used to, so the seat was able to slide all over my third row, where there is no latch system, unless I kept the seat buckled in. Overall, I recommend this seat and found it very lightweight and convenient.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Maxi-Cosi RodiSport Booster Seat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It can be used with the back or as a backless seat, but the height and weight requirements are actually the same for both configurations, so it's nice for meeting different comfort and safety preferences but doesn't change the longevity of the product. The back was easy to attach - I think - even for someone like me who gets hives at the thought of putting things together. I say I "think" it was easy because I tried a few times and never heard the click you're supposed to hear when you've attached the back correctly. The headrest is (for real) easy to adjust up and down. It uses the Latch system to attach to the car, which I find super helpful for installation and to make sure the booster doesn't slide around. The seat feels surprisingly cushy and seems roomy. The seat doesn't really have any bells or whistles. It comes with a cup holder, which you slide onto the seat and can slide off again to wash it (it's top-rack dishwasher safe, which is nice.) On the whole it's pretty light to carry. Despite the fact that this seems like a totally fine booster, it wouldn't be my first choice, namely because there's nothing on the seat to indicate if you installed it correctly. I also found some information online that showed it didn't perform as well in crash tests as competitors. It does meet federal guidelines so maybe I'm being too picky but for me the safety is the most important thing.
