I couldn't find any reviews so I took the chance and bought this booster seat and I'm so glad I did! It can recline, it's slim and the cushion is soft! Plus my 5yr old daughter says it's comfortable and she can easily buckle herself in and out! Also can be turned into a backless booster seat for later age. And the latch connectors are great and secure! Definitely recommend!

When this one first arrived, I was first impressed by the fabric.. it has a luxurious feel to it and the seat overall has a sleek and pleasing style. I like the high back and padding around the head which made transitioning to a booster feel less intimidating. It was actually a pleasure to install! The rails clip right into the car which feels so much more secure than the booster just sitting on the car bench. Adjusting the seat to fit my little one was so user friendly and took less than a minute to setup and install. My daughter has been practicing doing the buckle herself and can now get it without help about half of the time with this seat. I'm grateful that this will likely be our last car seat/booster since this one also will transition into a backless booster seat when we're ready for that step. It was super easy to install utilizing the clips in the backseat. This is one of my favorite features. The clip in installation provides more stability and reassurance that the seat is not moving. It is very easy for my daughter to lock herself in with the seat belt where we only have to check. She enjoys the high back and the head rest. Seat padding feels super comfortable and we heard no complaints on our longer rides.

The ISOFIX anchors were incredibly simple to use during installation, and the seat is remarkably compact while still being comfortable for my six-year-old daughter. One of my biggest concerns when purchasing car seats is whether they'll fit properly in my SUV, which can sometimes be challenging. One of the most important things I was looking for was a booster that still anchored into the seats as the older ones we had did not and my son was struggling to buckle himself in due to the seat moving around when he got in. It was also of utmost importance for safety reasons. The car seat was easy to move back and forth between a high back booster to no back. Immediately upon taking it out of the box you could see the premium level of fabric and cushioning. It was soft to touch and thick and comfy enough for long road trips. The ability to be able to adjust the height on the back is perfect for when that is in use as well since children come in all shapes and sizes, allowing for you to have a perfect custom fit, especially when considering safety in a car seat. I have had certain car seats where I literally dread, and try to avoid, taking the car seat out and putting it back in because of how annoying or difficult the process is to get the latches loose and unbuckled from the anchors. I put this car seat in my car, attached to the anchors in less than 1 minute and that was with needing 2 tries because 1 side didn't latch the first time. I can 100% say that I've never had an easier experience latching a car seat than what this one provided. I'd recommend this to anyone looking to transition to a booster seat and can already tell it will last the entire time my son will be in need of one.

Some boosters I have seen are really narrow, and this one works great for my son, he said he was comfortable. Second, it is super easy to install. We tried both the full and back backless options and both were very easy to put in the car, and the seat itself is not too heavy. Last, the cupholder is a really big deal in our house, so I really appreciate it being included, it is a very thoughtful detail. The fabric also feels nice and looks like it will be easy to clean. Overall I am very happy with the Maxi Cosi Rodi Sport!

Upon first receipt of the booster seat, I was very much impressed with the construction, feel and look of the seat. The color was neutral and could be used for any gender child, which is a plus, as well. When I installed the booster seat into the car, it was super easy and did not require a lot of thought or work to get it placed into the car. The booster was also very lightweight and easy to switch between vehicles. I used the booster with both the back and backless with my child. She was very comfortable with both. Since she is getting older, we will likely opt to use the backless booster more often, but both styles are perfectly fine. Lastly, our favorite feature was the cup holder. My child really enjoyed having her "own" cup holder attached to the seat. Both my child and I really like the booster seat and would highly recommend to others.

This booster was a disappointment comparing to the Rodifix BUT I do still love the lower anchors to keep the booster in place all the time and that it can be backless. I got this as a narrow option for a tricky back seat configuration. The arm rests/belt guides do hinder the usability for the kids to buckle themselves in tighter spaces but the back doesn't stick out too wide which is nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've purchased at least 7 booster seats. So far my kids really like the Maxi Cosi Rodi Sport compared to other seats. They say it is more comfortable. I also like the sleek look of solid black. The single piece means it's easier to clean as there aren't lots of crevices for crumbs to hide. The attachment method is unique, it is on sliding rails instead of being attached to a canvas belt. This makes it easy to attach once you figure it out, but it takes a little bit of time to figure it out because it is different. It is also less flexible, literally, and while it fits just fine in my vehicle, it may not fit all vehicles, but it fits easily in an Accord. It's very lightweight, which is really nice when I'm moving to Grandma's car. Most th time I just use the full booster seat. But if we're traveling, or I'm sending my child with a friend, I love that it's so easy to convert to a backless. The cupholder is nice, but it can get in the way. I prefer the retractable cupholders, because it makes it difficult to sit someone next to it. I received this car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Overall, this car seat is well made with nice comfortable and breathable fabric as well as a sturdy build that stayed well in place after installation. I like the neutral color of the off-white and the grey. The fabric felt nice and smooth and soft and can tell it was very breathable. The fabric was well made, and stitched well around the booster, overall great quality. For installation, overall it was easy to install. This particular booster had the solid “hooks” versus straps to hook into the seat. It did take a little just to attach it since they are solid, but once it is clicked into place, it is very sturdy and the bottom of the booster does not move which I feel like can happen, but with this booster, you know it is sturdy and stays in place once it's installed. So you know it is safe and sound providing peace of mind. I like that this booster can be set up with the back and headrest or as my child grows that portion can be removed, and only the bottom base of the booster can be used. It allows great flexibility as my child grows, which I like and it allows for easier transportation when we travel so it's not a bulky booster. It did feel lighter in general too. One thing I do wish the booster had was a second cupholder. This one only came with one. I also did feel like this booster isn't as wide as others, but it didn't seem to affect the comfortability in space for my child. However, it is something to note depending on the child sitting in it and how they grow. If space is a concern in the car this one I think is an average size but not so large. I would recommend this car seat if you're looking for one that will grow with your child and affordable price tag.
