We've been using the Maxi-Cosi RodiSport booster seat for my 5 year old (around 4'2 and 60lbs) and so far, we love it. Installation was a breeze with the LATCH system, no more random straps and hooks. It was very straightforward, simply adjust it, click it, and it's secured. I really like how easy it is to adjust the headrest and how the belt guides help keep the seatbelt positioned correctly across the shoulder. This booster seat also gives you the option to convert into a backless booster seat, so you're able to use it longer without worrying about your child outgrowing it. The padding feels comfortable and supportive, making it perfect for longer car rides. The cover is machine washable and dryer safe, so it makes it easy to simply snap it off to clean then snap it back on. The cup holder is removable which makes it easy to clean as well, and it can be placed on either side of the seat. Overall, the RodiSport feels well-designed with parents AND kids in mind. It is safe, comfortable, and designed to grow with your child.

Super easy to install, lightweight, and perfect for travel or switching between cars. More substantial than other boosters so very comfortable on long drives with great head support, and the seat belt fits just right. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful looking car seat. I like the lighter neutral tone, and that it will easily go from high back to backless booster. I have another high end booster with a similar latch attachment mechanism, and I found this one much easier to install. The latch arms extend pretty far and make it easier to get a good locking position. It also enables us to adjust recline on the booster, which my 6yo son is loving. He is able to buckle and unbuckle independently, and this has easily replaced the previous seat as favorite. My one point of improvement would be to change to a more pill resistant fabric. There already is some minor pilling from normal use. While I would say the benefits definitely outweigh the minor aesthetic annoyance, that would be one thing I would love to see changed. I expect this seat to serve us well through our booster years. I received this product as part of the stellar product testing panel, but these are my honest opinions.

We've been using the Maxi-Cosi RodiSport and honestly I'm pretty happy with it. The rigid LATCH is a big win for me because it doesn't slide around when my daughter gets in and out, it stays in place and just feels more secure. It's also comfortable (good padding) and the headrest is easy to adjust as she grows. The belt guides helps a lot too, and I like that it can turn into a backless booster later so I'm not using something just for a short phase. The only thing that annoys me is buckling can be a little tight (depending on the car I guess) sometimes the seatbelt rubs near the buckle area so my daughter needs an extra second to get it in. Also I wish it had better instructions/labels right on the seat. But overall it feels sturdy, comfy, and it's been a solid booster for us.

I love how easy it was to use the LATCH to install the seat. It is very simple to convert the seat from a low back to high back, and to adjust the height setting for a proper fit. What really impressed me was how lightweight the seat felt and how it was not cumbersome to move. I was able to easily install it in the middle of a bench seat with other car seats on the end. It was super easy to install utilizing the clips in the backseat. This is one of my favorite features. The clip in installation provides more stability and reassurance that the seat is not moving. It is very easy for my daughter to lock herself in with the seat belt where we only have to check. She enjoys the high back and the head rest. Installment was simple and feels very secure. It has extendable metal rods that secure to Latch hooks in my car. Additionally the seat is rather lightweight making it easy to move when needed. I received the lighter colored model that seems to show stains a little more easily, but the padding is removable and machine washable to freshen it up when needed. For the backless mode it includes a strap to adjust the seatbelt fit that we will use when he's a little bit older.

The Maxi Cosi Rodi Sport is a slender, but substantial booster seat. The best feature was the mechanism that attached the seat to the car seat. It was simple to get the latch hooks on, no fighting with a strap to try to tighten. Simply push the base of the booster towards the car seat and it's that easy! My son is 8 years old and weighs 62 pounds- he thought the back was great for head support when he gets sleepy and he still has room to grow! The head rest is easily adjustable to the right fit. It will be an easy transition to backless booster seat. The stability of the booster seat in the car seat was phenomenal, no moving and sliding side to side. The booster back has a convenient and comfortable seat belt strap ensuring proper placement. Over all, this booster seat appears well made, space conscientious, and comfortable. It had an attachable cup holder which is a plus! Definitely recommend for anyone looking to transition to a booster seat.
