It also has a button to have the toast pop up when you see it the way you want it. The clear window let's you know how dark your toast is getting. The toast pops up easily and it is easy to remove.

Gives me evenly toasted bread every time. It has a defrost mode which I've used for frozen waffles. I have also used the reheat mode, which works well. The view window makes it easy to check on toasting status.

No, you are not seeing double, the old one of 5+ years looks nearly as good as the new replacement. I have really enjoyed the color, the style, the look thru window of this solid toaster. It had toasted consistently for 5 years until the recent loss of the back coil rod. I like the wide long single slot feature. So, I searched it out and to my delight, it is still made. Oops, I was hoping to add my side by side photo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this toaster because our had broken and I needed a new one and it works good! My only down fall was u can only make 2 pieces at a time and with a family of five that’s just not enough for us.

There are many things we love about this toaster. The long slot (for artisinal breads), the view window, the clearly defined stages of browning (although this varies by type of bread, so be conservative (lower browning temp) until you know how the bread browning varies. We also like the reheat option for just a shade more color or because we got distracted and now the toast is cold. What is in dire need to change are 2 things:1. when the toast is finished and the machine pops it to the top, it is so forceful the some breads are actually launched OUT OF THE TOASTER, so make sure you have this on a counter or you will find your toast on the floor.2. the metal strip that holds the bread is insufficient for many breads - especially delicate breads. the notches are too far apart and the strip is not wide enough so sometime smallish slices fall beneath the toast holder strip. If this happens it is a MAJOR PRODUCT to remove the dropped piece. this limits the size and type of bread we can toast forcing us to use an air fryer or oven for those kinds. Plus it is a painful learning curve. I write this in the hopes that the designers will improve these 2 aspects of the toaster. If done so, we would rate it a 6 stars.

I spent a month researching different toasters and tried two, name-brand, pricey toasters which I returned because they did not toast evenly (dark on one side, light on the other). I just wanted a toaster that could toast - a reasonable request I thought but oh so elusive. Tried the Dash Clear View because of its style, colour, side control buttons, but mainly because of different technology (instead of rows of thin wire heating elements used in most other toasters, this uses heating tubes). I'm happy to say that the Dash Clear View toasts very well. It has a helpful user manual, it looks good, stays cool on the outside, but most of all.....it can toast.

Our Clear View Toaster has performed well so far. The view window makes it easy to check on toasting status and the generous slot accommodates our odd-sized toast and waffles easily. It's a great value and super simple to use. Our only hesitation is that they are not made in the USA.

In this day of expensive ktchen gadgets that do several things only fairly well, it is a breath of fresh air to find one again that does one thing exceptionally well!This toaster toasts to perfection. Its toasts fast, evenly and is a breeze to use and keep clean. Added with the see through window to allow you to see how uts toasting, its darn near fool proof!There are some reviews that mention it only toast on one side, well I'd venture to say they never read the instructions and had it set to "bagel" which when set surprise surprise... only toasts one side.This toaster is easy to use but read the instructions they are included for a reason (as will all products)

I do wish the front opened, but honestly Is fine. I don't mind it sitting out on my counter because it's adorable. Great features...easy to use. The top opening slots are wide enough to fit large bagels.
