We bought this toaster about 2 weeks ago, and we've loved it ever since. The single long slot makes it very nice for sourdough round bread when the middle slices are rather long, so you don't have to split it in two. We've toasted bread, bagels, waffles and the glass window lets you keep an eye on how dark your toast gets (my husband likes things less dark than I do, so...it's hard to keep a single setting that works for both of us). We've already recommended it to some friends.

Works very well. The clear window helps a lot to gauge the darkness of the toast. I'm always amazed at the quality of Dash products for such a low cost.

I have looked so hard for a toaster I even liked. They either burned the toast or broke immediately or just weren’t consistent. This toaster I love! Consistently perfect toast and bagels every time.

I like being able to see what shade the bread or bagel is turning. It only got 4 stars because it still requires me to manually stop it to keep from over toasting bread/bagel. The gauge does not accurately match up with what color toast you consistently get. So...when it is too light, my family cranks it up and then we are visually checking to make sure it doesn't overtoast. The up side is that at least it is toasting the whole piece, which with previous toasters was impossible. I have used this toaster on a variety of things, bread seems to go better than bagels or sliced rolls. While nothing is perfect, I am satisfied.

I've had this toaster for about 2 weeks and I'm satisfied. The clearview feature is okay, not great but okay. One problem with the toaster is that when I hit the cancel button the toast pops out of the toaster about 10 inches high. So users be ready to catch it.

Don’t like the length it takes up too much room, the settings are set too low. Example…if you set it on three out of ten it’s very toasted. It’s a learning experience to mess with the levels.

This is not what I thought it would be... it only toast one side of your bagel, bread or whatever you put in there. It's really an inconvenience to have to flip and retoast what you put in there. I wouldn't recommend this ang really thought about returning mine.

I bought this for my daughter to have at college. She really liked it at first, but it stopped working in less than a month. It heated up, but the lever would not lock down. She's going to return it and try again. Hopefully the next one lasts at least through the semester.

Too much wrong with this toaster to cover in a short review. Bottom line is it does terrible job of toasting. Uneven browning. One piece will have burnt spots, browned spots and untoasted areas. To add insult to injury, it takes this toaster a long time to produce its disappointing result. Wasted 6 slices of bread trying different settings. The toaster was returned the next day. Unfortunately I was out the shipping but better than keeping a frustrating, badly performing product.

Nice looking, reasonable cost, but it doesn't TOAST! Highest setting required to brown anything and it's still not even warm through the bread, muffin, or bagel.
