It is a very well built floor air-condition with special features like an automatic vent that fans the room when turned on. It also has a sleep function which is quieter than most. There is still a noise factor, but less than most. It is heavy to carry, so you will need help. All in all an excellent floor AC unit.

The reason I selected this model after researching other brands and models, is that it was advertised as quiet. I needed a quiet model since I participate in many video calls for work. This air conditioner did a fantastic job during the warm summer days -- both in cooling and sound level! I even asked coworkers while on a call if they could hear the unit when it was on, and they said they couldn't hear it at all. With the WiFi capability and LG ThinQ app on my phone, I was able to turn the unit on and off as needed to keep the room at a comfortable temperature without having to leave my chair.

At our 2 story home the existing heat pump could not maintain a cool enough temperature when it was 90 degrees or hotter. By utilizing the Lc dual converter a/c in a large main bedroom, it is cool and comfortable all the time.. Also the look and features are very appealing. Thank you for a great product!!

I caved in after GF/partner bought a window AC unit and failed to measure window. We used this unit less than 10 times this summer and on that track, it should last our lifetime! If you are considering such, spend big in my opinion. Like a refrigerator, use value grows substancially since it becomes a big part of every day life. After reviewing the specs and reading about the unique features, we went for it. Pros 1. DUAL Inverter Compressor™ provide cool temperatures with up to 40% more energy savings. 2. It is used in conjunction with a variable-speed compressor and adjusts compressor motor speed to regulate temperature. In essence this unit runs quiter than others that either blow loud and wake you up. 3. Variable speeds are common-place in AC units but LG did their homework and added differentiation. 4. Installation of the window panel that houses the exaust vent was simple and required no cutting or modification of components provided. 5. Drain in unit was well thought out too. It even has a sensor, though our little use didn't require draining. Cons 1. Price but like I said, spend big since this is a personal product in my opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually bought mine used. I love it. My only problem was it had an issue with LG Thinq basic on Alexa. The solution is use LG Thinq complete skill instead of Basic. Overall amazing portable AC.

Words cannot express how dissatisfied and disappointed I am regarding my LG refrigerator and stove!!! Honestly, I want to cry!! I spent over $5,000 on these products and both stopped working in one capacity or another in the first 2 years!!! I am kicking myself that I fell for their aesthetics and purchased them. I'm kicking myself that I did not buy the extended warranty!!! The stove shoots flames out the back and has melted the grate. I am on round 4 of trying to repair a less the 2 year old stove. I pray it get fixed with this new guy but he says getting parts for LG is like getting struck by lightening! Very hard to come by. My 2 year old refrigerator no longer makes ice. When the repair man came out he tried to fix it three times. Just today the water finally filled the cube tray however it did not freeze. He explained last time he was here that he really hopes it's not the fan if that's the case he will have to take apart the back of the refrigerator to get to that component. Literally, words can not explain how I am feeling right now. I feel I was completely ripped of and what's worse it's the holidays!! No family and friends get togethers here!!:( :( :( :( horrible horrible horrible product!! NEVER. AGAIN!!!!!! Because your products do not withstand the test of time and use!!! Horrible horrible and headache causing when the fumes come out of the stove!! All the toxins thrown in the air are awful!! I had to evacuate my kids, the dog and go to my sisters house!!!

It is a quiet unit which is easy to setup. The DC inverter lets it run the compressor at a lower speed making it quieter. Sometimes that creates a high-pitched sound but it isn't too bad. I am having trouble with the unit cooling too much. The connected app shows the target temperature as 75 but the unit is showing the current temperature as 70 and it is still cooling. I reached out to LG and the rep couldn't understand what I was talking about. They sent a local repair man and he said everything is working as expected and to just set the temperature higher. He also blamed it on the room size being too small which is about 400 sq. ft. with 14 foot ceilings. So, if you want to be reeeeeaaallly cold, especially at night, this is the a/c for you.

Nice air conditioner. It works very well. It is very quiet although it makes odd noises but still very quiet. Has all the features I would want in a portable air conditioner. The manual does not explain the remote control very well such as the remote display or remote temperature sensing. Repair parts and service manual are not anywhere to be found, possibly because it is a new product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's really loud. I can't work in room with it. It's quick cooling. It's much bigger than I thought for so big. Also-very short vent tube —we had to put unit on milk crates so it could reach. NOT length advertised.
