It's light years more efficient—cools the space much more quickly and thoroughly at low settings and is much quieter than my previous machine.

The sleep mode is my favorite, built in timer which incrementally decreases (increases?) temperature so your room won't turn into a freezer when you sleep. Second most favorite feature is the LG thinkQ app where you can turn on / off the air conditioner remotely, switch modes, and MONITOR ENERGY CONSUMPTION. This unit sips energy. Purchased a LG LP0821GSSM and will review that device later.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 2 units and using for couple weeks now. So, I need few more months to write the accurate review. Currently, this unit is great in design, WiFi features on both LG ThinQ app & my Alexa, and fast cooling dual inverter on compressor. It is very quite on Sleep Mode. But on the hot weather over 85 ~ 90F with very low temperature setting like 68 ~ 70 F, the compressor is running full speed and it makes little louder compressor sound, but it is still quitter than other portable AC. But when the room temp is getting closer to the setting temperature, the speed of compressor of the unit is getting slower and it is getting quitter. So, this AC unit seems to have automatic speed control base on the set temperature which is great function. I am thinking to buy one more unit for other room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this for 3 weeks. We have a large home and for some reason, even with 2 Air Conditioning units, our master bedroom won't cool off. The answer for us was the LP1419IVSM. After reading numerous reviews we decided to give it a try. Best buy ever! From the time I opened the box and had it ready to run took only 30 minutes, and most of that time was just getting it out of all of the packaging. The remote is awesome as well. Cooled out Master Bedroom down to 60 degrees in about 60 minutes and the room stays at 60 all night. It's the quietest in-room air conditioner we've used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in the heat of summer to ease the burden on my trailer's older AC unit and it has been just great. My old AC had been performing badly and has since broke down. In the meantime this portable AC has been sufficient to keep it cool in here. It is not summer but I am as far south in Florida as you can go so I use AC year round. I will be repairing or replacing the old AC before it gets really hot again as this portable is not recommended as enough to cool the entire space. I am very satisfied with this product. Some have complained about noise in these reviews but I haven't found it to be noisy at all. When it shuts of and on because of temp changes it does have some humming sounds as to be expected. It does not interfere with watching TV or conversation or sleep so I didn't get what they are complaining about. Perhaps their units were damaged or something.

I've had this appliance almost a month and I'm very happy with this product. It cools a living room (about 200 + square feet) very quietly and efficiently. It's easy to use but I have yet to figure out how to pair it with my iPhone. It's a real live saver on very hot days which I only turn on later in the day (i.e. I don't use it all day, only when needed) It also have a pleasing esthetic look for an appliance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this air conditioner to replace one I'd had for 11 years. It was getting so loud. At first I was not very happy with it. I had water leaks on the floor. However, I found a link on the website to request a service call and it was that easy. The tech came out and found that the unit had gotten a bit out of whack in shipping. He popped something back in place and it was even quieter than before. No more leaks and I am very happy with the unit.

The machine works great but we did not have a great start with the machine. Delivery was delayed not too worried about that it was the start of hot weather and not LG's fault. But once it was delivered I set up the portable AC hoping it would function. After setting it up and turning it on the machine already had an error code F1. Went to troubleshoot it and was instructed to drain the machine even though it was brand new. Did that nothing happened and the next steps were to contact support. Gee says go by a technician reaches out to come service the machine. Machine gets taken apart and the tech needs to order a part. A few more days go by and finally the part gets replaced. Aside from the terrible start with the portable ac, the machine works great and cools our room. The machine is also not too loud se we're able to keep it in our bedroom. That's why the rating is low.

Rated Average Do To The Following: 1) The discharge hose is poorly insulated and actually adds heat to the room. Had to purchase an insulation kit to rectify the problem. LG should provide proper insulation for the discharge hose. 2) Remote control requires line of site to operate the unit properly. 3) Would expect a PC app along with the mobile phone app to operate the unit remotely. 4) The unit is noisier then expected

I purchased this unit a little over a year ago. I was thinking it was going to last a few years but it already dies. It has stopped cooling altogether. When you contact support, you end up going in circles to find out that no authorized repair technicians repair portable air conditioner units.
