My apartment has central air but is hot all year and the electric bill are very high. So, I just needed a way to cool the bedroom even in winter when window mounted untit would freeze up. I have had this unit for about four months and I love it.

I called the store where purchased and they sent the remote. I also called the factory and they said they would send the manual and hardware( just a couple of screws). That was 2 months ago , still nothing. The air conditioner works great , cools the space quickly and is quiet

Double hung windows so very easy to install the outdoor exhaust vent with the included window panel and foam (use some duct tape to seal completely). Have owned for 4 years using each summer and has not let me down, while also not using too much power. Love the wifi remote access on my smartphone to see the temp at home and turn it on when I'm out and can turn off remotely when cool enough. The bedtime timer turn off also works well. Needs to be within about 3-4 feet from window, but you can move it (has wheels) to point the air where you want it to go. After summer, remove the window vent mount and keep it in the room as it's a fairly compact pleasing design.

It is a very well built floor air-condition with special features like an automatic vent that fans the room when turned on. It also has a sleep function which is quieter than most. There is still a noise factor, but less than most. It is heavy to carry, so you will need help. All in all an excellent floor AC unit.

This unit does not have any kind of a drain hose for outside drainage. I am gone for extended amount time in the summer so I cannot run it when not there to keep cool and and the humidity low. We got this unit to relace another LG unit which was defective after a few months. The same unit was on their website but unavailable and had to get something else. Couldn't speak to anyone to get a comparable model. Very disappointed with the overall experience with LG

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Moved into an unairconditioned covenant community apartment and did not wish to add an air conditioning system. Several family members and friends recommended a portable unit. It has fit our situation very well. My only complaint is the exhaust tubing window installation. Once the tubing is locked in the window, I am not strong enough to unlock it for winter storage. I have to completely remove the window installation making the unit awkward to store.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with this portable a/c unit. It is very quiet and not as large as our old unit. The hose is securely fastened to the back of the unit in a way that doesn't put undue pressure on it. The controls are easy to use.

As long as you follow the instructions on the size of the room to btu necessary than you won't have any issues with it being cold. As for all units the weight of it leaves the unit sinking into the carpet and being a headache to move around at 60lbs. The cleaning is as simple as vacuuming and wiping the unit down. All in all I've had 2 of the units for about 5 months and was definitely pleased during the summer. However it is a bit of a noticeably noisy unit so if you're recording turn it off first.

I think it saved our lives during the CA heatwave we had this past summer. Only thing that I would ask to improve is if there is any way to position the vent so the air can be blown out at a 90 degree angle from the unit.

The reason I selected this model after researching other brands and models, is that it was advertised as quiet. I needed a quiet model since I participate in many video calls for work. This air conditioner did a fantastic job during the warm summer days -- both in cooling and sound level! I even asked coworkers while on a call if they could hear the unit when it was on, and they said they couldn't hear it at all. With the WiFi capability and LG ThinQ app on my phone, I was able to turn the unit on and off as needed to keep the room at a comfortable temperature without having to leave my chair.
