I cannot recommend this cheese. The wedge I purchased is shiny on all sides. I cannot easily break it apart with a knife into chunks like most parmesan does. Very thick rind. Never had parmesan cheese with a shiny surface on all sides. Unpleasant taste and texture.

With a little effort,grate your cheese, you actually use less for better flavor.

After owning this a week mold was so thick on it.

I like the Parmesan but I feel as though it is a little over priced

This parm is awful. Sams occasionally has another parm Regiano that’s 24 months aged that is exceptional. This is not that cheese. This cheese does not melt into sauces, it gloops up on your fork or plate. It doesn’t taste like much of anything.
