I have been using this for the past few winters. Works very well. It is safe for pets and should you get some in or near the grass, the grass will grow back in the spring. It does not permanently kill it like regular salt based ice melt.

I have been buying this product for several years now, and it never fails to meet my expectations, even on the amount of ice and snow we have here in the hills and mountains of Southern WV! I first bought it because it is safe for my pets, and it has never caused a problem for my dog, or neighborhood cats, and the fact that it quickly dissolves ice patches makes it perfect for me!
