Some reviewers complained that this product did not work. That was NOT my experience! I applied Snow Joe pellets as a pre-treatment ahead of the ice storm in my area, and it worked great on my driveway and front porch! In fact, I ordered a second bag to keep on hand for the next icing event. I would definitely recommend this product to others!

I bought this for the 2018 New England winter on my 300' driveway. Used it last season and it worked like a charm. I use it as a pre treat just before an ice or snow storm. It prevents an ice over and continues to melt fallen snow despite the temperature. Its green so i can see it as i spread it by hand. I used to use my Scotts spreader but it spreads so easily by hand. It bounces when it lands as I throw it in front of where I walk, rather than landing all in the same place. I can treat the 300' driveway in less than 10minutes so last minute weather changes are easily handled. Especially useful if the snowfall is less than what i would use the snowblower to clear. It also does not clump in the bag so using the leftover next season is a given.

I used it on the driveway and pathway before I started shoveling which helped to loosen the ice then after I shoveled I used it again to keep the path from frozen spots. Very easy to use will be buying more.

This stuff is the real deal. It’s been 15-30 degrees for 2 weeks but my sidewalks are clear!! It doesn’t take long to work either. Within less then an hour ice has turned to water.

Great value. I had 2 bags delivered to my garage door. At 70, I can’t carry buckets or 50 lb bags. So getting these bags into the garage was easy. Product worked perfectly during recent icy weather.

Arrived just in time for the incoming snow storm. Worked well. I feel better about using an environmentally friendly product. Would recommend.

Using a lot on the ice and seeing hardly any of it melting. Don't like the big chunks that get dragged into the house and have to clean up. They don't dissolve, just sit there. Will look for a different brand. Won't buy again.

Perfect for added traction, and might work better as a pre treat. Lasts a long time on top of ice, and will speed melting when temperatures get back up closer to 32°. Definitely worth the price, but if you’re looking for fast melting at lower temperatures look for calcium chloride pellets. Both are environmental and concrete friendly. I use a mixture of both because the calcium chloride starts melting ice instantly, and MELT provides traction while helping to prevent re-freezing.

It took far too much ice melt before it started to work. I dread trying to rinse off the remains after this freezing spell is over.

I searched on your platform for PET FRIENDLY ice melt. This product came up third. It is not pet friendly. It is useless to me.
