I agree with the person that said it's all Gristle. I made half the bag and put on flour tortillas. Every bite I took I pulled out my mouth full of gristle and tough meat. I will never buy this again. To those that say they like it? They must have got a good bag. For the price I would have expected a more tender grade of meat. I gave it two stars instead of one because it is meat and not some imitation protein substitute.

I have purchased this many times in the past, but not for a year or two. Just bought some last time we were in, and oh boy has it gone downhill! The meat used to be tender and tasty; now, it was full of gristle, and tasted and smelled horrible. I wonder if John Soules got it mixed up with the dog food, and we got the wrong one. Except I wouldn't feed this to my dog.

Do not buy! I am a huge fan of fajitas and wanted to try this steak fajita. It was terrible!!! The steak had like a thick grease texture to it. Best comparison would be like the crisco oil type texture. Sooo nasty!!! My pan looked disgusting when cooking it. I tried wiping it down to get it off the steaks but no use it was too much. It taste terrible so I let the whole meal cool down and gave it ALL to my dogs instead of the trash. So upset I wasted money buying two bags of it!

After several bags with the same experience, I decided to write this review. This meat should not be allowed on the shelves. It was full of grissles and visible rubbery valves in every piece. None of it was edible. It makes me question members marks butchers and was a big waste of money.

I got these i hopes of having a new quick, easy, tasty go to for dinners and while the meat has great flavor it is so chewy that I’m not even sure how many pieces that I actually got to eat because I had to spit out the pieces. Very disappointed but won’t be buying again.

First Time Purchaser as the price was high for 1.5 pounds of meat so I expected a high-quality product. The smell upon opening was wild gamey meat like mutton. After preparing a lunch portion, it was a tough and chewy cut of meat that obviously was mechanically tenderized. Two bites, bad taste, and I threw it all out.

Not sure how this very poor quality passed any type of inspection, I wasted $$ on 2 bags for a fajita bar at a superbowl party and everyone asked where I got the weird fajita meat from. I ate some and had to spit it into a napkin because I couldn't chew through the gristle. Some people said they think it wasn't even real meat. How embarrassing...I will never buy again.

I specifically bought this to add to my salads or omelets, and it does the job. Considering the price, it's pretty good. The flavor already on the meat isn't bad, but I prefer adding other seasonings to make it taste even better. There were very few fatty pieces.

Bought two packages to have family over for my 74th birthday. Big disappointment. Tough, chewy, and not at all flavorful. Nearly all we put on the platter stayed there. Fortunately I had made home made chicken fajita. Won't be buying again. Complained to Sam's but no response as of yet.

I use to buy them a lot but I stopped. This is the 1st time that I’ve purchased them in over a year. They are just as good as I remember. So quick and easy to pair with any meal. The meat is so tender and delicious. I sometimes buy multiple packs and place extras in the freezer for later use. When it thaws, just as delicious as when I purchased it.
