I usually buy thin sirloin and slice it to make but this seemed like the easier thing. DON’T. JUST DO NOT BUY THIS. I can’t even begin to explain the texture… probably like Mr. Wilson eating a dried “paint” burger Dennis gave him. It was so chewy and weird. The texture is off. It’s definitely not any sort of steak I’ve ever tasted. Save your money!

The meat has a lot of gristle in it. It's also kind of mushy and needs some solid frying to get some fajita meat texture. The flavor leaves a lot to be desired. I had to mix other meat in with it and season it up to make it even close to tasty. Seeing the other reviews, I may have just gotten a bad bag but I sure am not going to go back for a second try.

I prepared the fajita steak according to the stove top instructions. I added some peppers and onions and served with rice. The tiny pieces of meat were good, however, the majority of the bag was large fajita pieces that were much too chewy to manipulate and swallow. My husband and i really wanted to like this, but i will not repurchase. And unfortunately, this was our meal prep for the week. Hopefully we have a few pieces that we can eat for lunch that arent too tough to chew. The flavor was ok. A little more peppery than I'd like, but that's just preference.

...the change was not necessarily for the better. It’s fattier, spicier and has larger random pieces. Sometimes the color is right, sometimes it is wrong BUT the key is to bake it covered until you can pinch the pieces of beef with your fingers easily. If it dries out, add a bit of water and recover, let sit, then mix and add your grilled peppers/onions.

I’m wondering if I had the same product as a lot of the other reviewers. We just put them in the skillet with a little butter for a few minutes and had all the fixins to go with them. Some of the larger pieces were a little tough, but not too bad. They had a wonderful flavor though! We don’t eat fast food and cook most of our meals from scratch. This was a quick and easy meal.

Bought these when my husband and I started keto. Never thought to look on package for carbs on meat. Should have as when we were logging our steak salads into an app my husband had more than half his carbs for the day (he had a larger portion). Initially thought it was that the food was wrong in the app (it happens with any user entered info) We looked back and saw it was these thinking it was a mistake until we looked at the label and ingredients.

Terrible lack of meat tenderizing for this product. I have been purchasing this product for years, only because it's the only frozen fajita meat Sam's offers, and definitely not for the quality. I have to literally boil this meat in water with spices for half an hour or pressure cook it to make it chewable. And it has always been this way. But incredibly, the quality is now worse than before. The meat is so hard now, even after boiling for half an hour I still find myself chewing on hard pieces of tough meat that just won't seem to soften up. Enough is enough. I'm giving up on this brand and hope Sam's replaces it with their own branded frozen fajita meat.

I purchased these for steak pitas and stir fry. The first serving I cooked foe the pita and it was not good. The secons time i used it for stir fry and it was delicious. My guess is that I didn't cook it long enough for the pita. But for the stir fry I cooked it nice and slow and it was perfect.

I thought this would be perfect for a quick meal - unfortunately the beef strips look NOTHING like the photo, and sadly, the meat was terribly tough! I am sorry to give it a poor rating - but I’m also sorry we had to throw out supper! Expensive little lesson!

I actually really like this product. I heat up the meat in a pan and add it to some rice with veggies for a quick dinner, or use as carnitas for some tasty taquitos with guacamole, and salsa. I just wish there was more meat in the bag. It's a little pricey to buy regularly. But every once in awhile I don't mind.
