Bought two packages to have family over for my 74th birthday. Big disappointment. Tough, chewy, and not at all flavorful. Nearly all we put on the platter stayed there. Fortunately I had made home made chicken fajita. Won't be buying again. Complained to Sam's but no response as of yet.

I was shocked how bad this product is, since we have had the chicken fajita strips many times. Same company, but the similarity ends there. Every piece was like eating a caramel, and not in a good way. Chewy, grisly, and just a total waste of money. Would not consider trying again, even if they gave me a bag for free!!!!

I have purchased this many times in the past, but not for a year or two. Just bought some last time we were in, and oh boy has it gone downhill! The meat used to be tender and tasty; now, it was full of gristle, and tasted and smelled horrible. I wonder if John Soules got it mixed up with the dog food, and we got the wrong one. Except I wouldn't feed this to my dog.

I’m wondering if I had the same product as a lot of the other reviewers. We just put them in the skillet with a little butter for a few minutes and had all the fixins to go with them. Some of the larger pieces were a little tough, but not too bad. They had a wonderful flavor though! We don’t eat fast food and cook most of our meals from scratch. This was a quick and easy meal.

I specifically bought this to add to my salads or omelets, and it does the job. Considering the price, it's pretty good. The flavor already on the meat isn't bad, but I prefer adding other seasonings to make it taste even better. There were very few fatty pieces.

I usually buy thin sirloin and slice it to make but this seemed like the easier thing. DON’T. JUST DO NOT BUY THIS. I can’t even begin to explain the texture… probably like Mr. Wilson eating a dried “paint” burger Dennis gave him. It was so chewy and weird. The texture is off. It’s definitely not any sort of steak I’ve ever tasted. Save your money!

I agree with the person that said it's all Gristle. I made half the bag and put on flour tortillas. Every bite I took I pulled out my mouth full of gristle and tough meat. I will never buy this again. To those that say they like it? They must have got a good bag. For the price I would have expected a more tender grade of meat. I gave it two stars instead of one because it is meat and not some imitation protein substitute.

I thought this would be perfect for a quick meal - unfortunately the beef strips look NOTHING like the photo, and sadly, the meat was terribly tough! I am sorry to give it a poor rating - but I’m also sorry we had to throw out supper! Expensive little lesson!

I prepared the fajita steak according to the stove top instructions. I added some peppers and onions and served with rice. The tiny pieces of meat were good, however, the majority of the bag was large fajita pieces that were much too chewy to manipulate and swallow. My husband and i really wanted to like this, but i will not repurchase. And unfortunately, this was our meal prep for the week. Hopefully we have a few pieces that we can eat for lunch that arent too tough to chew. The flavor was ok. A little more peppery than I'd like, but that's just preference.

Really bad! I'm not even sure this is real beef, it was grey, stinky (not spoiled but eww!) and the texture was weird too. Couldn't get it to brown, or taste any better even after putting it on a cast iron skillet with garlic, rosemary and hot butter. It went straight to the trash! Never again!
