I had no problems with the meat, however, I always put meat even tho its cooked I put it in the oven an cook it more . I sautéed it with onions and peppers added some seasoning and everyone enjoyed the meat, it was tender and tasty.

The meat has an unacceptably high fat content and the taste/texture of highly processed food. Unhealthy and not palatable in the least. I will either return or toss out the remaining product.

The texture was horrible, the flavor was disgusting. The meat was chewy, fatty and unpalatable. We threw out the whole pack and had to go out to buy brisket from a local restaurant.

Bought this as a quick protein add to my salads and let me tell you. This can barely be considered steak. Don’t waste your money and pass this item up. You’d be better off buying regular steak and making it yourself.

After several bags with the same experience, I decided to write this review. This meat should not be allowed on the shelves. It was full of grissles and visible rubbery valves in every piece. None of it was edible. It makes me question members marks butchers and was a big waste of money.

Not sure how this very poor quality passed any type of inspection, I wasted $$ on 2 bags for a fajita bar at a superbowl party and everyone asked where I got the weird fajita meat from. I ate some and had to spit it into a napkin because I couldn't chew through the gristle. Some people said they think it wasn't even real meat. How embarrassing...I will never buy again.

I have purchased this many times in the past, but not for a year or two. Just bought some last time we were in, and oh boy has it gone downhill! The meat used to be tender and tasty; now, it was full of gristle, and tasted and smelled horrible. I wonder if John Soules got it mixed up with the dog food, and we got the wrong one. Except I wouldn't feed this to my dog.

I use to buy them a lot but I stopped. This is the 1st time that I’ve purchased them in over a year. They are just as good as I remember. So quick and easy to pair with any meal. The meat is so tender and delicious. I sometimes buy multiple packs and place extras in the freezer for later use. When it thaws, just as delicious as when I purchased it.

...the change was not necessarily for the better. It’s fattier, spicier and has larger random pieces. Sometimes the color is right, sometimes it is wrong BUT the key is to bake it covered until you can pinch the pieces of beef with your fingers easily. If it dries out, add a bit of water and recover, let sit, then mix and add your grilled peppers/onions.

I was shocked how bad this product is, since we have had the chicken fajita strips many times. Same company, but the similarity ends there. Every piece was like eating a caramel, and not in a good way. Chewy, grisly, and just a total waste of money. Would not consider trying again, even if they gave me a bag for free!!!!
