I received this as a gift for Xmas 2021. The fan on the first unit began to fail after 5 months. The return process was so arduous I waited for it to completely fail which occurred at 11 months. I went thru the process which including paying $25 to ship it to Curtis. The unit they shipped back didn't work. They wouldn't respond to my emails so I fixed it myself (bent refrigerant line blocking pinching water tube). I finally got them to respond and asked if the warranty would be extended since I wasn't certain if I had hurt anything. Nope. Warranty already expired. Now a cheap plastic part on the shovel broke. These things are junk. Sam's Club should consider not selling them anymore.

I have bought two in five months. The first one fail within two weeks of purchase, it would not stop making ice. The second one lasted four months and will not get cold to freeze the ice. Do not waste your money these are cheaply built and will not last.

Makes ice fast, 2 sizes to choose from, doesnt use as much water as i had thought. Ice cubes fall into tray, if they aren't used they melt to bottom water troth to be used to make more ice. I wish it had better insulation to keep ice from forming a melting clump, have to break up ice to use each time. Otherwise, a good buy.

This ice maker worked great at first then after only a month it stopped working properly It would freeze all the ice together and not produce any more if you buy this ice maker buy the warranty through sams because the company that makes them are absolutely no help

It works wonderfully. I think it is better to remove ice and give the machine a rest when it is not necessary. However, I have not done that yet and it works amazingly. We use filter water in it and it says not to use ditilled water. But we have ice all the time. I love this purchase.

I received it and it worked for two days and compressor blew up I contacted company and after sending a video and filling out a lot of paper work and 3 months later I received a refurbished one! This one had a small crack on lid and hard water resido on bottom it works great but leaks horrible on the bottom!! I wrote company again and was going to have to do same thing again video and wait 3 months so now I just have a tray underneath a hose going into the sink to prevent water going everywhere! !

Worked perfectly the first week or so. Now it says Ice Full, even if there is nothing in there. Unplugging, restarting, everything we've tried, sometimes it will work for a little while, now i can't get the full ice light off at all. Of course we through the box and stuff away after it worked fine. Now I'm guessing I can't take it back. Less than 4 months I think?

While cleaning my icemaker, I could not find out why I kept getting rust and almost dirt like stuff running out. I opened it up and something is rusting in it. It is supposed to be Stainless steel, but this motor thing isnt. Also, the plastic is cracked around the motor key and was only held on by the ring. I cant even clean this rust off, it just keeps flaking. What good is it now to put back together, just to eat rust ice? There is no good frigidaire help, its not registerable and its been only 9 months! I took it back to Sams and they said "TOUGH, CALL THE MANUFACTURER, YOUR 90 DAYS IS UP". WOW. Ok, but how? If you bought one you should look up in the right and see if yours is a rust bucket too. Maybe it was an accidental part? I wish I could get help, but Frigidaire has no contactable/manufacturers warranty type ability. All I can do is leave a review. Other than this, the ice is good. I think I have a bad part.

I have bought 2 of these. Thought the first one was a fluke because it lasted almost 11 months before it quit making ice. I cleaned it religiously every 4 weeks. When it worked, it produced very nice ice. Enjoy it while it lasts, because it won't last. The second one only lasted 4 months. You get what you pay for. Don't expect it to last and don't expect Frigidaire to honor any warranty on this cheaply made junk!
