I have been using these sausages for over 7 years now. I don’t know what is different, but now any time I try to boil them they absolutely fall apart and the “skin” peels off of the sausage, leaving skin all over in the pot. This picture is of them in barely boiling water. Completely disappointed, and this is the THIRD time this happens.

Everything your looking for in a party that requires a crockpot, perfect snack for adults and kids. Great with bbq l, on their own or bacon wrapped . This has been on the table for every super bowl, Halloween, family reunion. Always a classic favorite people are always happy to see. They dont even need my stamp of approval I dont know anyone that dosent love then useless they are a vegetarian lol

One star review due to packaging shrink! Please increase the amount of Lit'l Smokies you put in a package to at least 32. I opened a package today and there were only 26. 32 is the number needed to combine with a sleeve of crescent rolls cut into 32 triangles. One pack of Lit;l Smokies to one sleeve is the perfect ratio. I'm sick of all the shrinking packages because companies are afraid to increase prices. If needed, raise the price and keep the number in a pack to at least 32!!!

The lil smokies came out of the package looking burnt, slimy and the casings were coming off and they are extremely misshapen. The sell by date is way into next month so they aren’t out of date. I had to wipe each one off with a paper towel and wipe the casing off that were falling apart before I put them in the crescent rolls. Hopefully they taste better than they look.

Something has changed for the worst. I used to love these little guys in bbq sauce. I just got a couple packages and they now no longer have the same texture or flavor. They're more like the ekrich smokies now. Texture is like eating mush not a sausage.

We have loved Little Smokies for years, but if this is the recipe now I will never buy them again. If we wanted hot dogs, we would have bought hot dogs. That is what these previously delicious little sausages taste like now! SO disappointed. You've lost several loyal customers here.

I've been buying the Lil smokies for decades but the past 2 large packs this year have had a weird film on them that makes them slippery from the package and rinses off with hot water. We tossed the last batch and are rinsing this time after getting another pack of the same texture. Has the manufacturing process changed? What gives HF??

I always hated veanna sausages so i would eat your sausages instead, I loved them before you changed the recipe, not happy with any aspect of them looked gross coming out the package made pigs in blankets for my family gathering more then half was left there nobody wanted them my son asked why I had put veanna sausages instead but I didn't. Whatever you changed put it back

Why would would you put the cooking instructions under the label. Then sticking that to the plastic wrapper. I needed stove top instructions. We ended up tossing all 4 packages it the trash why because? when we tried to pull the label off so we could prepare this for my family and friends. It was nothing but a mess. I will never trust hillshire Farm products again. Thank goodness I noticed that there was a pink liquid in the serving dishes even after I had drained and patted them. You need to print your cooking instructions on the front or back but not under the label.

We've been using this product for years. I noticed the package is different and so is the taste. It doesn't taste like the ones that comes out of the package in the picture. It tastes like weird hot dogs and they're much bigger. I think someone messed up... yuck
