We got these in last month's grocery order and I'm obsessed! I hadn't had them in years and the flavor was even better than I remember; the quality hasn't diminished at all. We broke them down into pound packages in quart freezer bags and they've done perfectly. I made one batch into a "Chili Cheese Dog Dip" for a party, pairing a pound of Lil Smokies (each link cut into thirds) with a can of hot dog chili and nacho cheese and served with tortilla chips, but could easily top rice or pasta or be made into a casserole. Another recipe was an incredible "Smoked Sausage Minestrone" made along with homemade chicken broth from the bones of a Sam's rotisserie chicken, a pretty pasta shape, parmesan, and an abundance of veggies, which was such a delicious Spring supper. I'm not quite sure what we're going to do with the final pound yet, but I'm so looking forward to using it and they will definitely be a frequent repurchase in the future!

The Lit’l smokies are a must have for any family gathering. They are a staple at any of our family gatherings and easy to fix. This amount will make a nice portion rather than having to buy 2-3 packages from a grocery store and for a better price. You can’t beat these for a tasty appetizer with BBQ sauce. Always a hit.

Bought these for a breakfast graduation party. They were delicious! In fact we’ve been eating the leftovers. I went and bought a different kind at the grocery recently after we ran out and we’ve all decided we like Hillshire Farms way better.

These are really good little sausages that work well as appetizers or meals. You can chop them up into small bits or leave them whole. Most importantly they’re tasty little bites.

There's two main ways to eat a smoky - 1. wrapped in a crescent roll or 2. put into a crock pot with BBQ sauce. Either way you can't lose. These were delicious as expected but for some reason were not as bold flavored as our last pack.

I buy these then divide them into smaller packages. I use them to give my dogs their pills for storms and holiday fireworks. They went up $2 I don't know how much longer I will be able to afford them

In my opinion, Hillshire made a huge mistake when they used this new version to replace the original Lit'l Smokies. I had a recipe from Hillshire for the original and served them frequently as appetizers. Always were a big hitl However, this replacement misses the mark BIG TIME. Just doesn't have the flavor of the original. Very disappointed. Sadly, never again.

The sausage is too salty. I wish Hillshire Farm reformulates its recept with less salt (NaCl) for at least 25 to 35% less when preparing the sausage.
