The product comes in 48" lengths. Although that is true, the extruded aluminum at the front and back edges is held short by about 3/4" from each end of the mesh. The mesh is 48" long. By the time you bend the mesh at each end to abut the adjacent section, you end up with around 47" of coverage at a straight run. If you are at the end of the gutter and want closed ends to keep critters and such from getting under the guard, there is at least another 3" of length lost to bend at each end. The point is to make sure you over estimate your lengths to make sure you have enough to finish the job. I needed about 112' so I ordered a 96' and 24' package to complete my house but ended up short by about 10' and I had very little waste. Otherwise, this seems like a descent product and the installation was about what I expected. It is too early to tell since I just installed them a couple weeks ago and the leaves won't start falling for a few weeks, but I feel pretty confident I won't be climbing any ladders to clean out my gutters for a while. We have had a good downpour and I saw no issues of water running over the top of the gutters.

Need 40 feet. Be real nice if you sold by the piece or foot!!! Had installed on total house a few yesrs ago., recently replaced a 40 foot section. With wider gutter.

Gutter guard

These screens are very well made and the installation instructions are very clear and understandable. The gutter guard website has videos and pictures to assist in cutting and attaching the screens to the gutters. My tin snips were too dull to cut the aluminum frames so I used my angle grinder with a cutting disk to make the cuts needed. When the gutters fill with rain water, the front and back of the gutters will spread apart where they are not secured with brackets to the facer board, so be sure the backside of the guards will stay secured under your shingles and not fall down into the gutter. Otherwise, the screens will not shed the debris sufficiently.

We just installed gutter glove around our house replacing the prior guard. As it turned out we had to use both the 5" and the 6-7" product as the new metal roof that was installed caused us to need both widths to fit the gutters. Both worked great! Straight runs are super easy. Getting used to handling the corners is a challenge at first, but followed the instructions. Make sure to order extra as some is lost at the beginning and end of each straight segment.

We bought this for our house for 6" gutters, but ended up finding the 5" fit and worked better. We ended up using this for a steel building and motor coach carport, and modified it to make it work with a steel roof. The product on our house has been up for almost 6 months and is working very well. We have pine needles as well as leaves that get in the gutters. The thought, engineering and instructions are awesome.

Just installed it today and found to fit very securely. Added three screws per length just for added security. Cleaned out the granolas that were left in the gutters before installing guards. Found that I can cut the support edges short and fold the screen over the edges.

this is an excellent system.strong and sturdy and filters all debris and can handle heavy rains and high winds easily

Pretty easy to install. The first section is the hardest to figure how you should bend it to fit your gutters but once you got that is done it goes up quick.
