The size of it is small enough that it doesn't take up a lot of room in my bag, but the monitor is large enough that I can read the numbers. Overall it's a great product and I'm glad that I picked it up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I began using the True Metrix Self Monitoring Blood Glucose Meter few weeks ago. I love all of the handy features it has! It comes with a carrying case which is perfect for on the go, I take it to work and every where I go. This is the first meter I have used that has life event tagging, so I can tag when I check my sugar, if it's before a meal, exercise, or after, if I'm sick, or before meds, that feature comes in handy with tracking and monitoring my levels. This meter is super accurate and works very fast. There is a function for testing reminder alarms which would be good if you were to forget to monitor, especially if the doctor has you on new medication and you need to monitor it frequently. The display is large and easy to read. The memory stores the date and time, and another feature is you can average the weekly blood glucose level or even monthly! It is perfect for what I need. I'll never buy another one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] True Matrix Glucose monitor is very easy to use, the display is large enough to read the results easily, the test strips only need a tiny amount of blood. Results showed in about 2 seconds and it was very accurate as my A1C is in very controlled range and I know the number was right. I would recommend to anyone needing a glucose monitor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in need of a blood sugar meter, so this came in handy. I am not diabetic but I am pre. So my doctor recommends that I keep track of my levels. The True Metrix blood glucose meter is super easy to use!! The needle was very easy to set up in the machine and put right back together. The machine its self is a very slick black color. It is tiny and comes with a very nice carry case to keep it in as well as the needles, strips and cleaner. I carry it right in my purse, so whenever i need to check it, I can grab it out and quickly do it. I am very pleased with the results, they have been very accurate and on point. I definitely recommend this meter to everyone as it is very easy to use. The results are nice and big on the window as well as it includes the time too and it beeps to let it know it is done.

I also had True Test Strips & A true Result Meter to compare the two systems. The systems are remarkably similar in blood glucose tests. I've been testing for Type 2 readings for many years and this new system by the same company as I understand, is very satisfactory for this oldster

I don’t test my blood every day so the reminder feature isn’t necessary for me. If I had to every day it would a nice feature

Mind you, this is the first device I’ve used so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I thought it was easy to use once I read through the instructions and gives a good base line
