I try to find the right setting to get just enough sample without going too deep. So far, I have not had to re-stick. It's easy to use, quick read, and so far, no errors! But my biggest praise is the consistent stick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a very simple glucose reader. Own another reader and it provides more information than this one does. It allows me to save results as well as other features and useful information that this one does not provide. The needle is also pretty painful. Had it set at 3 and it hurt but the normal one I used with my other is at 5 and doesn’t hurt when used. It also sucks that it isn’t rechargeable and uses a battery. Guess it’s decent if you only care about the glucose read itself and don’t want a range or to save the information.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.]  TRUE METRIX - Self Monitoring Blood Glucose Meter no need to turn on, its does as soon as you slip the test strip into the slot the meter will display a series of numbers and then it will read your strip. If the meter displays an E and a number then there is a problem. If the meter does not beep and display numbers when the strip is inserted then there is a problem. True metrix is a great product, works well, and easy to mange. Large numbers on the screen, doesn't need alot of blood to find out your results, and stores your readings. I would recommend this to family and friends
