I have had the Defender on my 2013 Ford Explorer for a few days. I almost didn't buy them because of reviews saying that they are noisy and have poor ride quality. I am glad that I didn't believe those reviews. These tires are as quiet as my old Latitudes and give me a good ride, plus I get the 70,000 mile warranty instead of 55,000 miles. Having the tires for only a few days, I haven't tried the in snow yet, but they have a good tread design to give good traction. I am very pleased with my decision to buy the Defender.

This is the third set of LTX M/S I've owned and I will not ever own anything else! These tires are perfect for my truck ,long interstate drives or getting a little mud on my tires makes no difference with these babies! My dad always taught me the two most important things on a vehicle were the tires and brakes. He also said your going to get what you pay for, which I didn't always follow his advise. I took the cheaper route and it always cost me more in the end. LTX Michelins will out last and ride smoother then any tire on the market and thats why this guy will never buy anything else. I have these tires on an older Jeep Liberty with 140,000 miles on it. It's the 4th pair of tires on this vehicle. I use them in all types of weather and road conditions. The tires have performed well so far and I look forward to several more years of use out of them.

These make my 2004 explorer more stable, quieter, and overall a much smoother ride. It literally changed the way the entire ride feels. It's not as splashy (sways less also) and definitely feels much more solid, but not firm or harsh. Wet weather is no problem and it handles snow well also. Would have bought M/S 2's but they were not available in size I needed fort limited edition explorer.

I bought 4-new Michelin LTX M/S tires when I replace original tires from my Ford F150 at 62,000 miles. Now my Ford truck has 162,000 miles and my Michelin tires still going strong! The tires have over100,000 milles!!!!!!!!!!! & looks like it will last another 100,000 miles. I'm in a constuction field and I drive my truck to work carrying lot of toool & constuction materials. The Michelin tires are the best tires I ever had and I highly recommend to everyone. The Simply the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I put Michelin LTX M/S tires on my van 30K miles ago and have been very pleased with them. The ride has been smoother and the van has handled better with cornering. It also handles better with the heavy rains. I chose Michelin because I wanted the best tires on the van to ensure the best protection for my family. Based on the performance of these tire I would give Michelin a 5-Star rating.

A few years back, I kept replacing the tires on my Tahoe every 20-30K miles then a friend told me about Michelin tires. I now have Michelins on all my vehicles not only they ride super in wet or dry conditions but they last upwards of 60K miles. The savings and the security is worth every penny threefold. Thanks Michelin for putting out a product that lasts while giving a great performance and security for my family.

I have had 5+ sets of these on 2 different suburbans, 1) f150 std cab longbox, 1) Chevrolet dually cab-chassis with dump and snow-plow, and now on my '14 Superduty Kingranch. If my continued patronage of this specific tire doesn't speak volumes, I don't know what..I am in Wisconsin, and snow and ice traction are important. These tires are excellent in snow and ice, without quick wear like a winter tire 80k/set. Ride comfort is outstanding. I replaced the Michelin AT tires with these on the superduty, and they are 10 times better for traction and comfort. If you are wondering if these tires are worth the extra money, they absolutely are!

I love these tires. When I say these tires have superior traction, I've had tires for six months and i driven through mud, wet grass and wet pavement and these tires never loss traction. I love them and I recommend them to anybody who drives a truck! One more thing, these tires make a truck look so good!

Safety, reliability, long lasting, good value are the things I look for in my tires. I have tried less expensive tires in the past and regretted that choice. Peace of mind at not having to worry about my tires when I am driving and not having to buy new tires for a long time. Knowing I have one of the best tire choices on my vehicle, then I can think about the rest of the choices I have to make in my life. I have been a happy Michelin man for many years.
