I tried every similar bread available due to the convenience of shopping at work the past 14 months. This week I had some killer 21 again and sent for 5 loaves to have on hand.

It toasts great on my cast iron griddle and the 27 Oz loaf has slices perfectly sized and shaped for sandwich making. Another reviewer complained about the amount of sugar per slice. Don't be fooled one 20 Oz bottle of coke has nearly as much sugar as this entire loaf, but Dave uses organic cane sugar instead of HFCS. I agree it's expensive when compared to other brands, but you get what you pay for in this world. Great recipe Dave! Don't change a thing.

Not white, not close to white. Terrible product. And I tried to keep it short. Your validation made me keep rambling on about how bad it was.

I have never had an allergic reaction to any food, drink, supplement, or anything taken orally. I was visiting a friend and they had this bread. The whole green with seeds variety. I had a piece of it, toasted with butter. I have no idea which seed it was, but something in this bread made me have a horrible allergic reaction. My face and eyes were extremely swollen. Beware

Thin slice is just too thin because the regular slices are thin enough as is; recently noticed overall dimensions of bread are shrinking. But I keep buying because we really DKB. Heavily seeded with nice spongy texture it holds up well to TV pics of Turkey & Avocado lunch 🙂 Bread is filling with a nice chew so instead of woofing down an ole white bread sandwich the seeds force me take my time to chew/taste & that's nice.

Lately I've noticed that the bread does not have the usual amount of seeds on the crust. Some flaxseed, some sesame seeds, oats, and barley. I don't see any sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds. Someone needs to correct that issue immediately! I agree with the other reviews that there is way too much sugar....doesn't need it. Hope you see this review and make the changes. I won't spend that kind of money and not get what I pay for.

Its very good for you and tastes pretty good. Someone posted that its sweet but I have never thought of this bread being sweet... If you want to make a healthy change with a bread that actually tastes good, then this is the bread for you.

I recently recommended it to a friend and she snapped a picture of the label and sent it to me to let me know she was trying it... in doing so, I realized the protein content went from 5g to 6g (ok cool), the fiber went from 5g to 4g (eh, I'll deal), but the ALA Omega 3's went from 260mg to 130mg! That is cut by 50%!!! What gives? Why the change? I feel like I am losing nutritional value, but the bread still costs the premium price!

This bread has the best ingredients, the perfect amount of fiber, time of other nutrients and yet it feels good in the mouth! Every other whole grain bread I've tried to like has detracted from a sandwich or needed tons of butter, jelly, or peanut butter to make palettable. I could eat this every day, and I do. I can't tell you you'll like it as much as bakery fresh sour dough, but if you're looking to be healthier this is a very easy compromise to make, and it doesn't feel like you're losing anything.
Great texture and flavor, unbeatable health stats!

Now no matter where I buy it the edges are very dry ( at least an inch in) and there is something cloying almost like but not cinnamon… something changed in the part few years. Ye. Sugar is poison to me and also to the huge and ever growing population with metabolic syndrome, type I & II diabetes, & pre-diabetes. Can you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE create a bread with NO SUGAR??? Add salt, rosemary, garlic, or ANYTHING ELSE BESIDES SUGAR for flavoring? I will pay MORE $$$ FOR SUCH A BREAD! As it is I can't eat this bread. So no 5 stars from me.

Me and my fiance are trying to replace all of our white breads and pasta with whole wheat. We tried the Great Value and it's alright for what you pay but it doesn't really make a super filling sandwich, but this bread is so filling and delicious! We honestly find that we don't go through it nearly as fast.

Super glad I did it’s VERY filling and had a great taste. Not too pricey either. Cinnamon raisin bagels are delicious with strawberry cream cheese. I made a pbj with my thick slices and the grains go very well with the peanut butter. I’m VERY PLEASED that my brother suggested such a great tasting bread. And to think it’s HEALTHIER than the other breads that I have had throughout my life…..THANK YOU for making such a great & healthy bread….a bread that I will eat until I die!!!!!!
