It's a little heavier than my previous upright but has the attachments that I needed. Like the swivel head and the dirt container is easy to empty. Works well on all surfaces.

It does not pick up pet hair very well at all. After one vacuum the hair got stuck and we had to call for help and they said use the other features. We returned the vacuum.

St. Pete, Fl. Excellent on bare floors but it really does an excellent job on our rugs. So easy to put together and operate. Quieter then my previous sweeper. Good choice.

I had an older model that I loved, sent it to college with son so I got a new one. Same excellent suction and refreshed, improved features of older model.

I do not have carpet, but do have rugs and 2 kids and 2 dogs. I bought this after hating a hoover. This is far superior to any vacuum I've ever owned. The suction is very strong. It is so strong, I accidentally sucked a sock into it, from under a couch. It also about spilled my coffee, when the nozzle got too close to the cup. It's fairly light, so I can lug it up and down my stairs.

This vacuum is amazing. I have three dogs (that are super shedders), a long haired cat, a daughter, a messy husband, and I have very long and thick hair. This vacuum makes my floors (hard and carpet) so clean! I have a Dyson and another Shark. The morning before this vacuum arrived I vacuumed. When this arrived I was so excited I vacuumed immediately. I had to dump the canister (which is huge) twice! It picks up everything!

I love this vacuum I have had other sharks as well ( I own a resort) this one is a great value !! Love the big dump cup, wand, container etc are easy off , I like that the attachments are attached in this model - hard surface setting is handy - only negative is the cord is not as long as in my last shark - which I had for ages !! Great buy !! Highly recommend

I bought this for my daughter & son-in-law. Our SIL went home Christmas night and vacuumed. Daughter said her old cleaner just got the dirt on top of the carpet. They LOVE it! Our daughter said she loved how quiet the cleaner was. Wish I had ordered 1 for myself!

This vacuum sucks!! And I mean that in a good way! We had a Shark before and the hose separated. I asked my husband to take it to the vacuum repair shop. The man there told him that it’s not worth fixing a “throwaway vacuum”. So, my husband bought a different kind. I tried to like it but it was heavy and cumbersome. Within three months it became clogged and so I had a reason to order a new Shark! Yay! We have two Labs who shed all day and all night. It’s almost embarrassing how much hair is in the canister when I empty it. I also love the tool that goes on the end of the wand. It makes short work of couches and dog beds.

This vacuum has very good suction. The wand is so much easier to use than the older models without it.There is one drawback though. The vacuum falls over very easily while using the wand. You cannot extend the hose very far without it tipping so you can only vacuum with the wand if you stay right next to the vacuum even though the hose could extend quite a bit. It was also disappointing that there are no attachments for this vacuum except a crevice tool.
