It does not pick up pet hair very well at all. After one vacuum the hair got stuck and we had to call for help and they said use the other features. We returned the vacuum.

St. Pete, Fl. Excellent on bare floors but it really does an excellent job on our rugs. So easy to put together and operate. Quieter then my previous sweeper. Good choice.

It's a little heavier than my previous upright but has the attachments that I needed. Like the swivel head and the dirt container is easy to empty. Works well on all surfaces.

I had an older model that I loved, sent it to college with son so I got a new one. Same excellent suction and refreshed, improved features of older model.

I have no idea how this vacuum is still being sold, I purchased this about a year ago and it has been a total headache. Constant clogging and having to dig things out of the hose. This says its made specifically for pets but I have a small dog who sheds a bit. Now it is not sucking at all no matter what I have done to clean it

This vacuum would probably be great in a home with very shallow carpet, but it just simply wouldn't work on mine. I checked the reviews after this and found that this is a common issue. It was disappointing because my previous vacuum was a Shark that lasted many years.

Always like my shark vacuums for carpet and flooring but bought new couches and needed one to deal with the pet hair. This is IT-gets ALL of it! Picture is just from my loveseat AFTER I had already used my handheld on it! (Only complaint is the hose is extra tight so using attachments is more difficult.) $129 is a great price for this amount of suction-worth every penny. Works better than my Dyson ever did.

Second shark. Had to return the first one as the brush wouldn’t spin. This one is constantly jammed. I have to open everything and clean it out. Had a Dyson for 8 yrs and it broke. Thought I could do better. Guess I was wrong. I’ve had this one for 6 months and it’s terrible. Doesn’t vacuum and the hose is even worse. No suction just noise. I’m so disappointed and out 180 bucks.

If I could give this thing 0 stars, I would. The red light kept coming on indicating that the beater brush was not working. Of course, did all the trouble shooting to no avail. Also, after ONE use of the upholstery brush, a portion of it started peeling off! I don't write reviews, just thought I'd do a favor for the next customer.

This vacuum has very good suction. The wand is so much easier to use than the older models without it.There is one drawback though. The vacuum falls over very easily while using the wand. You cannot extend the hose very far without it tipping so you can only vacuum with the wand if you stay right next to the vacuum even though the hose could extend quite a bit. It was also disappointing that there are no attachments for this vacuum except a crevice tool.
