I have owned about 6 different models of shark vacuums, all great vacuums. However, this has been by far the best one, it is not noisy, it’s not heavy despite its size, and it lifts everything and anything. It makes cleaning easier and faster, I don’t have the need to vacuum the same area an extra time because this really does pick up everything. When i’m in the market for a new vacuum I’ll really do my best to get this same exact model.

This Vacuum picked up so much crud and dust from our apartment that was never able to get picked up before from our old one. It was insane to see how much was just sitting around and causing us issues with allergies. We have 3 cats and this vacuum has been a dream

We are very disappointed with this vacuum. We are on our 4th one and the hoses keeps ripping at the top and/or at the bottom. You can’t tap them or replace the hoses. The suction stopped about three months after buying them. We are switching to another brand.

I convinced my husband to finally purchase a shark vacuum since I’ve heard so many great things about it, and we really got a deal on Black Friday which saved us $70. Even still, knowing just how great this vacuum is, it’s worth every penny of the original price. I’m slow when it comes to installations, but it was extremely self explanatory as far as putting it together. It took me maybe 5 minutes to take it out of the box and put it together. Our old vacuum cleaner (Black Decker) was okay, considering we spent less than $70 on it and typically I spent about 30-45 minutes and 3-4 dumps to feel like the floor was “clean”. For record, I have 2 dogs (1 big short haired who sheds constantly, 1 small who is long haired and doesn’t shed as much) and a 3 year old who looooves making messes with crumbs! After I vacuumed the small space in front of my door which tends to accumulate all sorts of dirt and crud- I’m blown away with how much cleaner it looks. So much stuff was collected in one passing! The vacuum so much quieter than the cheap vacuum and the maneuverability is amazing, I can fit into most places my other vacuum could not. As far as specs go, the tank is large- much larger than the one I’m used to, which means less trips to the trash. It’s not very heavy which is also surprising considering how big it is but I can lift it one handed without struggling versus with my old vacuum which was the opposite. The only con is the cord length, although I think it’s about the same as most vacuum cleaners so while it’s a con for me (I like being able to vacuum everything in one go), it’s probably fine for most people. The cord is 25’. Although because of this, I was only able to vacuum about 2/3 of my apartment. The apartment is almost 1,000sq ft for reference. All in all, this vacuum is awesome and I’m so excited to use this for years to come!

I just purchased this a few days ago. I have always loved the Shark products, so did not hesitate to purchase this. VERY disappointed in this vacuum. It does not have very good suction for carpet. My last one had two different settings for the grade of carpet, this one, only one. With a little bit thicker carpet, it is very hard to push and will stop the roller so you have to turn off, then back on. The cord is shorter than my last so I have to stop more often. If I can, I am going to return this model, it does not live up to the Shark quality I am us to.

So I run my shark robot on max everyday. I also vaccum with my shark rocket everyday. Empty my robot lot of hair from surface. Then proceed to vaccum with rocket. More surface hair and some deep cleaning. But oh my word!!! I filled up a quarter of the canister and didn't even touch furniture. I'm impressed. Gonna give the rocket to my dad. I have 4 animals.

This vacuum worked wonderfully the first time! I was so excited that I finally found a vacuum that could handle my 3 pets and long haired family members! The second time I used it the red brush light went on. I cleaned it up, took it apart and was fine with doing so but ever since then the light kept coming on and it still does not pick up anything! So frustrated because it worked awesome at first!! So if you don't have pets this is a good vacuum for you.

I have an older Shark Lift-Away that has been super for many years. This one is brittle! I got it specifically for the pet power brush for my furniture, which works GREAT--but after only one week, I noticed the plastic on that attachment is cracked and very brittle. I'm so disappointed! I fear that even other Shark models with that tool will be just as bad. They don't make them like they used to, apparently. Returning it and trying something different.

I bought this in November. At first it was an awesome vacuum, very light, powerful and versatile. It stopped working about a week ago, the carpet light won't turn on, it gets very hot at the filter base and it makes an awful loud sound that seems to be coming from the the left side of the filter. Not happy at the quality.

OK. This is my second Shark. I was so impressed with the first one I bought another. This is a GREAT vacuum,the suction is incredible. Very good BASIC vacuum. However, I might return it. Why? Well, comparing it to my first Shark (Rotator...Pet Plus)...no light on vacuum or handle...this is really a great feature and this one does not have it. The cord is shorter than my first Shark...also a big deal as I can’t reach where I used to. The power switch (which I am used to on the handle... Very convenient) is down further and I have to bend over to switch it (and stop what I’m doing). Lastly....NOT a good vacuum for thicker carpets...HARD to push....amazing for bare floors and short carpets however! I may keep it for my business and just get a different Shark for home. Haven’t decided...for the price...can’t be beat.
