I bought this is my second Shark vacuum it died after two months of use and has never cleaned up the same. It replaced a Shark vacuum that I had bought from Sam's that survived 6 years on a ranch with two indoor cats two German Shepherds and two golden retrievers. I am so heartbroken over this vacuum and it's too late to return it I would never suggest anybody buy this one. No suction constantly clogged just a poor design.

After owning a previous version of this vacuum I was shocked to see how cheaply it was made. The motor was extremely loud and overall wasn't worth the price by a long shot. Save yourself the time and aggravation and don't purchase. Why shark put their name on this inferior unit seems like it is hurting the brand.

This is the kind of item that you need to handle before you buy. If there is one thing about a vacuum that will make you hesitant to use, it's the maneuverability. Yes, this vacuum is powerful but with the larger cup size, it is very awkward and very stressful on the arms, back and shoulders. It's not just the large size, it's the way the weight is distributed. The cup is near the middle of the handle so when you are stroking it back and forth on your floors, it is constantly wobbling from side to side. I don't know about you, but that is uncomfortable for me and it discourages me from vacuuming. Like I needed another reason!

I bought this on Thanksgiving for 60 dollars off and am still so impressed! Its lightweight but very effective. It also gets in the hard to reach areas, making it a breeze to use. I have a dog that sheds quite a bit and this takes care of all of that

I had a Dyson that lasted 20 YEARS & it was wonderful until it just finally broke, took me 2 yrs to decide on another vacuum because of the various good/bad reviews, I bought a very cheap one until I could make a decision on a better one, BUT instead of spending $400-$500 on another dyson, I decided to give this one a try, on sale it was a great deal I thought! I do like it, BUT it is heavy, can get kinda backbreaking all the pushing & pulling & ONLY has 2 settings> hardwood or carpet, otherwise you can't move it up or down for short or longer shag carpet/rugs & ect, so it goes full speed suction on everything & will shred a rug & get hung up in seconds. Cord length is minimal, so have to constantly stop & plug it in closer. No light & only 2 attachments. It gets the job done I guess. I don't know why in the world anyone would need a 3XL cannister but whatever. It puts out A LOT OF HEAT, like pushing around a blowing heater. It has a good attachment for furniture & stairs. All in all, for $150 on sale, tax & all, it is a good buy! Hopefully it will last a few yrs!

I've owned a lot of vacuums and this is hands down the best. Usually with lots of pet hair, the vacuum just kind of pushes it around. This really gets into the carpet and gets the hair, and on hard floor it sucks it up without just blowing it away. I recommend this one to anyone with a pet.

So I bought me this vacuum last year, which made me extremely happy but now a year later the shark vacuum lost suction on the handle to Vaccum the couchs. I'm Extremely disappointed because I own a shark vacuum before which lasted me 3 years no problem. This vacuum lasted me one year.

I used to have a dyson. This is way more powerful and user friendly

I am really loving this light weight vacuum. My carpeting looks so much better.
