This is my first experience with having ground flax seed available in more than a minuscule quantity sold at an outrageous price. I love it - has a delightful taste and I don't feel like I'll have to take out a mortgage if I have more than a tablespoon a day. I have been adding some outmeal every day to a fruit smoothie to make it a little thicker - but now I'm going to try using less oatmeal and replacing it with some flax seed instead.

I love this flax I just the bag were able to seal properly so I had to put it in a container and stick it in the refrigerator.. if only I could remember that it’s there .. hubby Loves it .. on toast with honey and cinnamon. I add to my smoothies And oatmeal.

I purchased it a few times and the product is not exactly consistent as far as the size of the particles. It can be a fine powder or more of a coarse-like ingredient. The biggest issue for me was that the price changed from $8.98 to $15.98 overnight, which is close to double. at this point buying 8 lbs at a time its not such a good deal.

With this order, customer must purchase two. It was not a problem for me. I shared with a friend. This flaxseed comes already ground eliminating that process for the purchaser. And it is the golden flaxseed, not the typical dark brown found in the grocery store. This one is sweeter than the brown as well. Great buy on a Great Product!

I recently started eating it by putting it in my smoothies and adding it to my baked goods. It tastes like nothing which really doesnt matter to me because I think the smell a d texture is just fine. Getting 2 bags is excessive so I actually went in on it with a friend and she took the 2nd bag. I plan to order again once I'm out.

Good tasting flaxseed. My first serving with cereal this morning didn't have the paste taste of the previous brand since this has a coarser milled texture. Blended well with my almond and walnut pieces. I did call the company before ordering for the expiration date since the two bag minimum (8#) will last a single person a long time. Maybe Sam's will soon stock.

This Milled Flaxseed product by Premium Gold Milling Co., is made in America, and has a very long shelf life, with or without refrigeration, within its own resealing package. A Tablespoon or two can be used as a substitute for an egg in many recipes. My personal favorite is to add a heaping tablespoon to my bowl of Oatmeal - makes it very creamy; together with a handful of raisins, dried cherries, and breakfast is simply wonderful. Always high quality, absolutely love that it is peanut free! Great price. Made in USA. I use it in all my baked goods to add some extra nutrition and like to substitute ground flax+water (2.5TB Water +1 TB ground flax) when I don't have butter or eggs available to me. Another user said it tasted bad? I have never eaten it raw, so I can't comment on that. But in baked goods (breads, granola bars, muffins etc.) it is delicious if you're looking for that taste, and if you're not, you won't notice it. My parents, who would never eat anything that is healthy intentionally, love the baked goods I make and cannot believe that there is flax in there. I do sincerely hope that Sam's continues to carry this brand. Our family adores it.
