Don't buy this one!

Bought this for my very careful, responsible and thankful son to take to college. He was so careful with it, leaving it in all it's packaging and moving it in upright position. He only got to make about 6 cups of coffee before it turned on, then shut off and now it's nothing more than an expensive paperweight. Apparently, this is a common issue with this model and they are still selling it. What a disappointment!!!! They don't make these like they used to and they don't have any business selling something they know is bad. Never going to invest in the brand again. $100+ is hard to earn.

Do NOT Descale this Coffee Maker - It will break

I purchased this coffee maker three months ago. When the descale light came on, I descaled the machine following Keurig's directions. Before completing the descaling process, the machine died. Called Keurig and they wanted me to send the machine back to them and offered to replace it after inspecting the machine. What you're supposed to do for a coffee machine while they are inspecting the dead unit is unknown. I ended up searching YouTube for videos on how to fix it. Found NUMEROUS videos on how to reset the internal thermostat of this style of coffee maker. That did indeed work. How lame that Keurig sells a machine that their recommended maintenance breaks on a regular basis. Will never buy another Keurig.

Not Good!

My Keurig stopped working and I liked the design of this one. It actually takes up more space on my counter. It's taller and longer than the one I previously owned. They way it punches the k-cup always spills coffee grounds into your cup. We have to put the k-cup in, close it, rinse out the coffee grounds and then make your coffee. And, if you choose 12 ozs the k-cup will explode. I'm now looking for another brand. Keurig gets worse worh each new design. This is my 4th.

Despite our best efforts all we get is water

We’ve tried de-scaling and cleaning this many times, we’ve owned several other Keurig models and this is by far the worst. It also sprays coffee all over the counter (when it did actually brew) even with a tall cup. Three months old and it’s going back.

Doesn't last

This is the third Keurig we have purchased. Each one has not lasted very long. This one only lasted 11 months. I contacted the Keurig warranty department and they are sending us a new (refurbished?) one. If it had lasted just one more month, we would have been out of luck. If I actually buy another one, I will DEFINITELY buy the 3 year warranty.

Very weak, watery coffee!

Brand new, out of the box, with the "strong" pressed, very weak watery coffee. Is this normal? First, just water comes out, then watery coffee, then more water. Can't be a maintenance problem as it was a new machine (unless it was used) Is this normal or do we have a dud?
