Already love the original Jameson. When it got this as a present for my birthday I was thrilled and rightfully so. This edition is so smooth. Actually you could say dangerous smooth. I drank it on the rocks. A good mixed drink with this is 1.5 Jameson, .5 peach schnapps, and about 4 oz homemade sour mix.

Really enjoy black barrel, and barrel proof 100 proof. Both are full of sweet and spicy notes, and the finish has vanilla spice and fruit working well together leaving your mouth watering ready for another sip. I recommend drinking these neat because of the richness.

This is probably my favorite, US available, Jameson incarnation. I was introduced to Black Barrel in a 50 ml Sampler Pack given to me when my wife returned home from a vacation in Ireland. Of course, of all the Jameson varieties I've tried, my favorite is Crested(Sadly, not available in the US>)

Jameson Black Barrel is a tasteful whiskey that can be brought to any get together or consumed after a long day of work. Having this on the rocks is the ideal choice as you get a sweetness infused in the whiskey. For the quality of the whiskey you don’t pay as much as you would think. It’s a great deal and a great whiskey!

Regular Jameson is smooth but Black Barrel, to me, is smoother. It has a robust flavor and is great straight or over rocks. It is also great for a summer drink. i.e.: Jameson, ginger, and a bit of soda water. Fun to sip with friends or sip with a great book. Either way, you can't miss with Black Barrel Jameson.

I really like the Black Barrel when I'm mixing it to make a cocktail..... but my all-time favorite may surprise you! That would be Red Breast. No need to mix.... just enjoy sipping and it makes for a great evening. Right now I have 2 bottles of the Red Breast 12 and one of the 15. Someday I will get the next best one! Had my 1st on my only visit to the distillery in Dublin

With more character and layers than the standard Jameson for only a few US dollars more it's hard not to pick this one up. For someone interested in exploring whiskeys for the first time, it's great to get the black barrel and standard Jameson to do a side by side tasting for an in depth look at these whiskeys.

jameson-black-barrel-whiskey-750-ml is great! The flavors are rich and smooth and are easy to add in for cocktail drinks. I like having it on the rocks while my friends like it stirred and not shaken. I highly recommend it and use it during get togethers

This is good smooth whiskey. Great for whiskey sours or any other mix drinks. It's not that expensive compared to some on the market. I don't think I'd do anything to It, to mess with it would mess with the cost of. Inwould most definitely buy this again. Great afford alchol
