normally I love the chicken, this time undercooked

normally I love a Sam's club rotisserie chicken because they're yummy for a quick day of meal, but they're especially good for meal prepping after cutting it up. this time, I only was able to eat about half the meat, I threw away the rest of the chicken be ause it was pink and not cooked fully! the top part of the chicken, the breast, was salvageable and I felt comfortable eating the meat. but anything lower, the thighs, wings, bottom of the chicken were not cooked! it was pink and gooey... I wish I would've bought raw chicken instead to cook and get enough to meal prep instead of buying this one because that was not a great experience for me.

What happened?

The flavor seems to be lacking in these chickens of late. I am not sure if there is less marinade being used or the recipe has changed but there is a lot less flavor now. Also, the last couple chickens i have purchased do not appear to be fully cooked. When breaking off the leg quarter, the joint is still red and needs to be nuked. These chickens need an additional 5-7 minutes in the convection oven.

Probably done with rotisserie chicken

I’ve had several rotisserie chickens from Sam’s and it in the course of my life, but never have I had an experience like the last one. When I went to pull the thigh off, a blood vessel burst, and blood went all over. The chicken was covered in blood around that area. I’m talking fresh red blood.🤢

PLEASE Sam’s READ the reviews, this is very dangerous, chickens continue to come out undercooked, it keeps happening constantly and people are going to get sick and off course lawsuits will follow, I know you only care about the bottom line but if care about people you need to take action and fix this very dangerous issue.

Always half cooked

These chickens are a great up but they are NEVER fully cooked I buy these to make chicken salad and every single time I get one they are still bleeding so I have to cook them before using they should not be able to sell half cooked chicken. They need to cook them longer and stop worrying about getting so many out and then being huge birds . I’ve never got a raw rotisserie chicken from cost co so I know that Sam’s Club should be able to cook them thoroughly before someone gets sick

This chicken was discussing, like a rubber, I never seen the chicken so big And I do know the farm chicken by the way , but this chicken looks like it’s injected with something, and was reddish inside and was like a rubber, with a nasty texture Was a disgusting, and I don’t know how they sell something like that.

Roastie Chicken for the WIN

I buy three of the roastie chickens everytime I go to Sams. We eat part of one then I take all the meat off what is left and the other two chickens. I take the three carcasses and put them in the crockpot with veggies and seasons, fill it up with water, put it on low and set it for about 12 hrs, once the time is up I run all of it throught a collander and bag up my chicken stock. The leftover mashed up veggies and chicken. carcasses I give to my chickens and the chicken meat I pulled off the bones gets put into vacuum seal bags and frozen for when I need it. Im all about using every tiny thing and giving everything a purpose so this is a deal for us

Never thought I had to read the ingredients for a rotisserie chicken rub...why all the mystery ingredients %26 why do we need the added flour, it'sthe first ingredient too..Sooo disappointed! I buy rotisserie because I'm off flour right now, I'd buy fried if I wanted flour, I've never seen this in a rotisserie chicken before. All this time I thought I'd been eating the healthier alternative 😢

Feathers

I wanted to ask if they took the chicken straight from the slaughter to the rotisserie grill! There were enormous feathers still lodged in the wing! Obviously didn’t clean a thing. It won’t let be upload a picture but the feathers were no less that an inch and a half long! No way they didn’t see them!
