Continuously Under cooked to Raw

I have always liked these chickens. However, since moving and shopping at the Denham Springs, La store, the chicken are under cooked and sometimes just raw. I've complained many times and have reported them to the board of health with evidence. No changes, they continue to under cook the chickens.

MISSING CHICKEN 🐔

On Saturday, August 13th, I placed a pick up order for two items: a salad kit and a rotisserie chicken. When I arrived for my order, a Sam’s representative handed me the salad kit and told me that the chicken was not ready and would be an additional 45 minutes. She asked if I wanted to wait or have it credited back to my card. I told her I was unable to stay and would like it credited to my card. I immediately asked her if she would be the one to do that, and she said yes. I waited entire day for someone to handle the situation. Ten minutes before closing, I called our Sam’s store and spoke with a customer service representative, who took my phone number and assured me that this would be taken care of and I would receive a phone call confirming such. Three days later, I am still awaiting the phone call and/or evidence of the charge being returned to my credit card.

Not as good as I had hoped it would be

I only go to Sam's to stock up every other month. I had a taste for chicken and stuffing, so I bought a rotisserie chicken when I was there today. Made some Stove Top stuffing, put it in a Pyrex pan with the leg and thigh on top, baking it for 25 minutes at 350. When I removed the leg and thigh it appeared that there was still some uncooked areas near the thigh bone. It cooked through in the oven, but what if I brought it home and put it directly on the table for dinner, without the extra heating? It tasted okay, not highly seasoned, but they need to cook these chickens a little longer.

So-So but could be the best

These chickens are much bigger than all the other stores and I feel I'm getting my $ worth and we love the flavor but I have to agree with others they have been under cooked and it was pretty gross. This has happened more than once and obviously it is not just a local problem as I see from these comments. I hope this is fixed because I have not been able to buy one since.

GOOD, BUT NOT LIKE THEY WERE

We usually enjoy Sam's Rotisserie Chicken, but in the last several months we had to return our purchase twice due to the chicken being slightly under cooked. The size of the bird seems to have gotten smaller too. Oh well, it's still a tasty meal with a great price.

This bird is not seasoned I don't care what they say. yeah it's cooked but no way is this seasoning. Sam's actually tries to downplay it by saying all well you know that's just your perception, no that's a fact. if you're going to season something season it if you're not then don't But don't sit up here and sell it as something that it's not

buyer beware, not cooked fully

unfortunately my new opinion on the chicken from sams on sw5th and MacArthur in Oklahoma City, has drastically changed! we used to love them and ate one at least once a week, however this is the 2nd time in a row we have gotten bloody chicken and unfortunately haven't caught it before someone mistakenly ate some. i put the legs and thighs in a container for my husband to take to work and the bottom of the bowl was a dark pink once i turned around and saw it in the light. we've also seen on numerous occasions when the chickens are tempped they were under done and needed another 15 minutes. i think this is what made us sick the last time. buyer beware make sure you cut into all parts beforehand. i definitely won't be purchasing anymore from Sam's at least not at this location.

Double check before serving

Frequency of undercooked chicken is alarming. Thankfully I was the only one that ate some and no one else got sick. Not sure if it's a volume issue or not checking temps or maybe equipment is off. Seeing some other reviews it's not just my local club with the issue.

PLEASE Sam's READ the reviews, this is very dangerous, chickens continue to come out undercooked, it keeps happening constantly and people are going to get sick and off course lawsuits will follow, I know you only care about the bottom line but if care about people you need to take action and fix this very dangerous issue.

will buy again

I buy these quite often, like the fact that they are not cooked to fully done, makes it so they are not overcooked when warmed up. I cut them up in portions and pressure cook the carcass to use in soups like chicken %26 dumplins. However, the last one was very fatty but it won't stop me from buying them
