There’s a reason customers line up for the rotisserie chickens to come out of the ovens in Chattanooga. At $4.98, this chicken is economically priced, delicious, and ready to eat. Sam’s club has the largest rotisserie chickens I’ve seen around here and can easily feed a family of four or more. After driving across town, shopping and returning home to carry in and put groceries away, it’s nice to have one thing that doesn’t need cooking.

Even if you cooked a chicken yourself there’s no way it would be as good as this. It’s so juicy and tasty, it’s unbelievable. I use it in many recipes that call for chicken and also as a main course meal. For the price it is not worth buying a raw chicken and doing all the prep work. Plus, these chickens are cooked in a rotisserie oven not a regular oven. The juices are constantly being distributed throughout the chicken. The results? About the best chicken you’ll ever eat!

Love these huge, cheap chickens but must say that 2 of my last 3 were not cooked completely and with chicken that isn't a good thing. One was only half cooked. Mistakes happen and Sam's made it right so this is more of a warning to consumers than a complaint against Sam's. Check them well before you dig in, if there's blood in the leg quarters the chicken isn't done.

Dense and flavorful, this is the chicken you would buy from the Farmers' Market and roast yourself - but Sam's does it for you - saving you time and precious dollars. Just the right amount of salt, perfectly cooked, and ready to eat as is or take apart to add to a recipe.

If you’re lucky enough to get a fresh one it’s a great buy. Even a couple hours old is alright. Sadly my club will leave them out entirely too long. I recommend putting it the a crockpot on warm until you are ready to eat it. Keeps it just as you purchased it.

Ok, this is the best tasting chicken in comparison to any other grocery/membership places, plus it is cheaper and much bigger than what little sister Walmart offers. But! There's always the swarm to contend with. There's usually a guy or a family that has called ahead who gets like 40 chickens in one go, complete with boxes and a multi cart caravan. It would be awesome if there were more chickens available so that I'm not just there waiting with a bunch of crying kids for nothing. I would even take a cold one home and warm it up myself if it was an option versus leaving empty-handed. Everybody loves this chicken and it is a treat in my household. We get some flatbread or tortillas, put some basic sides or fillings together (lettuce, tomato, avocado, sour cream, cheese), self-serve and eat it however we like it. It's one of the only times my kids will eat till there's nothing but bones. It makes us very happy. The only thing to complain about is many times there are not enough ready in store to go around and we miss out.

Well-seasoned, very flavorful. The roaster was fully-cooked yet juicy. Not dried out as roasters can sometimes be. The price was excellent. I bought it for a dinner and we ended up picking on it all day not leaving enough for dinner so I just picked it apart and used the remaining roaster for soup. Family loved it.

I always stock up on these chickens to use in recipes that call for shredded chicken; it's much cheaper and one chicken can be used for a few recipes because they're so huge (even when tossing bits to 4 cats and a dog to keep them away from food prep).

The chicken is always very good moist, hot and tasty. The container could use a revamp the lids pop off when you put them in the basket or when you put them on the cash register they always pop off and they also leak so you must get a box to put them in so your car Will not smell like chicken juice for a long time

I don't think I can buy a whole raw chicken for this price; it is perfectly [simply] seasoned and roasted. I have set it atop vegetables in the oven or crockpot and let the juice season them. Most times I strip the meat for chicken salad, chicken paprikash or chicken with spaetzle, then boil the skin and bones for broth.
