What happened to the flakes? Whats this powder, waste of money... if i could give negative stars i would.

Granular, not flakes, so the consistency turns out smoother with less effort than with flakes in my experience. Not as tasty as mashed from scratch, but a good fix if I need to thicken potato soup or supplement homemade potatoes (large crew!).

Expected the same potato flakes as the smaller packages, not the powdery granulated texture. Also, too high in sodium, prefer to add salt ourselves so we have more control. Would have given 2.5 stars if possible.

I've loved mashed potatoes since I was a kid. You can't fool me when it comes to instant, real, etc. This brand disappeared during Covid %26 I couldn't find out why - when I saw it again I was so excited. It's not the same. At all. Doesn't have the same taste, it's not flakes- it's a completely different product. I tried making different ways, adding extra ingredients, nothing helped. I can see where people may like them but if you're looking for the old school taste, this isn't it. I threw half the box away - and I never throw food away. Very disappointed and would love to find out why the old school instant potatoes no longer exist.
