Easy to make and tastes great

The consistency is very fine almost powder like and doesn’t mix easily. I like the larger flakes of the Idaho brand.

these are nothing like the Hungry Jack Instant potatoes that come in the box. I was very disappointed. Taste very processed and full of sodium. Blah.

My parents wont eat any other instant potatoes besides Hungry Jack. So I got them a couple for Christmas because they cant find it anywhere! Shipping was super fast and it was around Christmas. I know I'll definitely be ordering more just incase they run out!

I have no idea what it is about Hungry Jack flakes, but there is a real difference between HJ and everyone else. When we make the seasonal treat Lefse we make a batch with real potatoes for our own table and use potato flakes for the rest. The difference between the HJ’s and other brands is obvious immediately. Like they say, the proof of the lefse is in the taste.

I was so sad when they stopped making this. Very happy to find them at Sam’s Club. The flavor is exactly the same. Only differences are: 1. Tiny granules - not flakes 2. Measurements are different 3. You do not add salt or butter like the old one did. Otherwise. Flavor and texture same.

Makes more potatoes by using less. Slightly off flavor compared to their potato flakes.

The previous brand that Sam’s club had was way better this one has a weird flavor.

Granular instead of flakes. Terrible flavor.
