There is basically no way to set it to hold a temperature over a very long period of time

It keeps disconnecting from the app. I bought it for my business which I don’t need it to be on all the time, but I need to cool down my suite between 2-3 hours ahead, but I can’t control it be cause all the time is offline

Don't find it as intuitive as past thermostats I have gotten from Nest. Missing turning the whole body of the unit to make selections as the new system I find to be difficult to make precise selections. Motion sensor to detect if it should maintain temperature is pointless too as unless you're in front of it constantly it wants to set an "eco-friendly" temp. Setup is still as easy as all the Nest thermostats are, app walks you through every step. The trim kit that is included with it is very nice.

This just arrived yesterday and is installed. The edges of the trim piece curve away from Whatever style this is supposed to be is just plain stupid. The back of the piece is clearly marked "this side against wall, which leaves the edges of the plate about 1/8" away from the wall. I would much prefer a convex plate where the edges meet the wall. The thermostat itself is fine but if you don't like the design of this "included" plate, plan on spending another $15 to get one that looks normal.

Not intuitive, difficult to operate, and weird algorithm for temperature settings.

This thing won’t stay connected to my wifi. I reset my router and the nest thermostat but after a couple of days my nest is disconnected again.

Ran into no issues out of the box, system was already set up for C wire. Installed within 20 minutes. Easy enough controls, and looks sleek on the wall with trim kit.

This was an absolutely great idea whomever thought it. Having to not worry about the paint match when changing units was great! Super easy install. Looks amazing!

The Nest has a history of only cooling, not heating, no matter what setting it is on. Do not buy this product.
