bought this machine 2 years ago. it washes very well and holds a good amount of laundry. when working well, it is actually quite quiet. i was very happy with this machine and even went as far as getting a samsung drier and their higher range cook tops. frankly, i would give it 5 stars for quality of wash, features and cost. it started making a loud banging noise and then stopped spinning completely. i expect that machines will break but after just 2 years of use i'm disappointed. added to that, there is a cost to get samsung out to diagnose the issues and i will need to pay for parts and labor for their repair. i am going to speak with samsung and see if this can be waived but i wont hold my breadth

purchase the washer 8 months ago. had no issues, but then these last 3 weeks the washer became so loud that it became unusable. noise during the spin cycle became louder and louder. techs came out and ran diagnostics but couldn't find anything wrong with it. sounds like there's a helicopter inside my house every time we use it. disappointed in samsung since they have great tv/ smartphone products. my washer needs to replaced or my money refunded.

The time I spend doing laundry has drastically reduced thanks to the large drum size. My clothes come out feeling cleaner than ever! I am thoroughly impressed at how quiet this washing machine is; the first time I ran a cycle, I had to physically ensure that it was actually running because it was so quiet. So far the “Quick Wash” feature has been the most useful and handy since my children always come to me last minute to wash their various uniforms and athletic wear that they need immediately. The clothes come out surprisingly just as clean as the regular cycle. There are still many features that I am learning to use on this washer, and I'm very impressed with how effective and efficient it is.

my flex washer broke after only 2 years. i was give 1/3 of what i paid for the flex washer. today i got this new washer as a replacement. i put some clothes to rinse and spin. the door locked and would not unlock after the cycle was complete . i had to turn off the breaker and wait until the washer to drain to use it again. the next load was whites so i silly me i added the correct amount of bleach to the bleach dispenser. the bleach leaked straight through the washer onto the floor and ruined clothes i had on the floor. the washer is very loud and does not wash well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this recently and really like it. The only change I would recommend is that the on / off not be so sensitive. When I reach for my softener, I often turn it on or off by bumping it with my hip. Other than that, I am pleased

Washer was great for first 3 years but starting to make jet noise during the spinning cycle and gotten worse and worse. I only suspected the ball bearing issue but after some research and the reviews here, it seems that this particular model has ball bearing issue. Only the washer broke so I can't find an alternative washer for my old dryer to stack. I have many Samsung products and I love them so this is very disappointing.

I bought this set less than 3 years ago . Thinking it would last our family for some years to come . Investing in what I thought was a good product but it has been a nightmare the counterweight broke off it leaks water and is loud . It is unfixable and I am going to have to get another washer now . Being a mom if little ones it's extremely hard to be without a washer while I save for another one . It should have lasted more than three years for the price we paid . Disappointed in quality !

Purchased this washing machine 3 years ago. It has had issues since the beginning with sounding like a jet engine during the spin cycle, shaking and vibrating to now it is making a loud noise during the spin cycle that sounds like the machine is ready to explode. I have read other reviews on this machine and it seems like this is a major problem with this model. I believe this washing machine model is a lemon. I have had other brands of washers and never had any problems and they lasted over 10 years or more each. For the money I spent on buying this washer and then it only lasting 3 years is ridiculous. I believe Samsung should recall these machines and compensate customers the amount they paid for it. I now have to purchase another washing machine and incur another expense that I shouldn't have to do this soon. Needless to say I won't be purchasing another Samsung appliance in the future.

Same issue as many others. The product is defective. The counter balance weight broke in half along with its support structure which is molded into the the drum container. Therefore, when the counter weight breaks, the entire washer machine needs to be replaced.
