I waited to post my review in order to thoroughly test the washer. I was determined to put it through the ringer (pun intended). Several loads later, family input gathered, and I'm pleased to say that we have all enjoyed laundry day. 1st, let's talk about the style. The new champagne color is much more stylish than I thought it would be. A breath of fresh are from the typical black or white options. The controls are easily accessible and fairly intuitive to use. The optional door placement (left or right open) makes it easy to customize to the users preference. But we aren't buying this to stare at it, on to the cleaning. The washer makes quick work out of a full load of laundry. Approximately 30-40 minutes and loads are complete. The steam feature on the washer is great and aids cleaning and sanitizing. The machine gives plenty of soap options and although all these options are available, the install crew recommended the pods over all the others. Slightly annoying considering that is the most expensive option but we did try both the powder and tide pod option. There didn't seem to be much of a difference, but the pods were a little better and more convenient so I see why the recommended them. The running of the machine is super quiet. We really can't hear a thing until the charming musical buzzer alerts you that the load is done. My only minor annoyance is the ergonomics. I am not a tall guy at 5'7" but I found myself having to bend over quite a bit to load and remove clothes. Something I'm sure can be solved with a drawer storage riser later down the road. Although the opening may seem small in comparison with the large drum capacity, this design is necessary to prevent uneven overloading and is a standard size for front-loading machines. In all this thing looks just as good as it functions. I've never been so pleased to do laundry as I have been over the past few weeks. Thanks again Samsung!

First off, the whole design of these appliances are sleek and gorgeous to look at. The barrel is very large, can fit king sized comforters (has a setting for this!) or a weeks worth of forgotten laundry. Even though it does fit a lot of clothes, it doesn't use up too much water to get the job done! You also have all kinds of power when choosing how you want your load washed. From water temperature to how many times you want it to rinse to the amount of soil! There are also so many settings to pick from like Bedding or even Sanitize. You really could wash anything in this machine. Plus is it so quiet! Our laundry is right next to our bedroom and we never hear it! I really enjoy doing laundry now!

I have read many reviews now and almost all of them say to stay away from this machine. The reviews that are very positive are all identified as “promotional “ and hence can't be trusted as a reliable review. I was about to purchase a set, but now am not likely to buy a Samsung washer

this machine has leaked water since day one. i have owned it now for six weeks, have taken two days off of work to wait for repair people, and have spent hours on the phone with samsung, home depot, and the repair place, and still do not have any resolution. the machine was delivered to me with bolts missing and a damaged gasket. it pours water out the bottom and sounds like an airplane taking off. samsung refuses to replace the machine or refund my money, instead insisting that i take another day off to wait for someone to come out a third time to repair the defective machine they sent me. deeply disappointing, and not what i expected from samsung.

I love the app because our washer is in the basement. It lets me know when the washer is completed so we can promptly switch loads. This washer has so many great santitizing features and its spin cycle is amazing. Clothes take less time to dry.

Probably a lemon. Straight out of the box it jumped and bounced all over the laundry room floor. Thought maybe an unbalanced load. Straightened everything out and it was like a ninja jumping all over. I shut it down and took it right back to Sam's Club. Great customer support! They took it right back and set me up with a real smooth operating machine. Wouldn't buy that model again because its a real house wrecker but the next Samsung washer i received is fantastic! i actually did my homework before selecting this washer and dryer. i have never been so disappointed with an appliance and the lack of service as i am with this washer. since it was installed, it shakes violently during the spin cycle. the installer said "it was fine" and the samsung repairman said it was not balanced and it was the installer's fault. additionally, if the detergent cup is open & you open the door at the same time, water pours onto the floor. the door doesn't close properly and adds to the banging. samsung won't help me other than to send me links so that i can fix it! so i'm at the mercy of the store where i bought it. it's been 4 months now of apprehension and noisy (it startles me from across the house noisy) clothes washing.

in the beginning this machine was amazing... 11 months later when doing regular laundry the machine started bouncing/moving around so violently i couldn't even switch it off with the buttons.. i had to yank the power cord out of the wall to stop it on it's path of destruction - a bolt snapped leaving the machine unable to balance - i am glad i was home - this could have caused serious damage - samsung wont replace the machine, so i love the fact i'm now shopping for a new washer and using a laundromat 11 months after spending $$$ on a fancy washer/dryer set
