Bought the Frigidaire ice maker July 2022. . It stopped working this week, almost exactly 2 years after purchase. Up to this weekend, the unit worked great and pumped out ice when we needed it. We actually would run the machine for a day and harvest the ice into gallon bags and throw in the freezer. One quick knock on the cabinet with the bag, and the ice was all broken up and ready for use. Well the fan stopped turning and it started growling loudly. Time to move on out, ice man... lol. Don't know what was wrong, but headed straight to Walmart to buy another Frigidaire unit. This one is a bit smaller and has a smoky stainless steel look. Hope it last longer this time!

Brought home, read the instructions, and attempted to make ice since it's very simple. But the Add Water Light stayed on, even after adding water. I unplugged the machine, and even emptied the container, and then refilled it, but no matter what I did, the light would come on saying I needed to add water. The Troubleshooting steps only said to add water when the Add Water light comes on, there was no additional information to troubleshoot the issue. I am going to return it tomorrow and buy another one. If that one works, I will update my Overall Rating

I purchased this 6 weeks ago, used it approx 10 times "add water" light went on with water in it. Emptied water out, added new water light went right back on. Will be returning to Sams. Wasn't worth the money for 10 times. Also, wish the cubes would have been a little larger (even on larger setting). Disappointed, really wish it would have been more reliable.

The product that I received today is not the same one as pictured on the website. The one I received has an all black lid and not a transparent lid. It also doesn’t have an option for small or large ice cubes. Both issues are hugely disappointing for me. The good thing is, so far it works and is fairly quiet.

Cons: Ice Markers are can tough to keep working, can't attest to long term quality, but feels like a substantial piece.

I read the book, read reviews & You Tube videos, too. Works great & though I keep it monitored while making the ice, it makes it pretty fast. I chose this brand name over others I didn't know as well & because Sam's Club had it for $10 off. I've seen others that made 2-3 different size ice cubes but these single sized cubes are just right.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit is really convenient for those outdoor summer activities. Normally we can run out of fridge ice easily. This will prevent that. Makes ice cubes in about 15 minutes. Looking forward to using this on the patio this summer.

This is about the 4the portable ice maker Ive had in 5 years of various brands . Be aware its only going to last a year or so. But, this maker is one of the loudest Ive owned. The constant fan is like having a dishwasher on in the kitchen at all times. Fine if your just using it on occasion I guess. This one does not have different cube sizes like many of them.

Great price for a great product. I love this, no more running to the store to stock up on ice. Our fridge couldn't keep up with our families demand and I took a chance when I saw this at Sam's club. I love this ice. It is a great shape and size. The machine is quick to start and we run it constantly through the day. I wish it could hold more ice as it goes but overall I am so happy with this purchase!

We needed a little ice for our condo so we didn't have to keep running to the store. We purchased this product to fill our water and drink cups. Very surprised how this little ice maker bangs out ice. In one day our entire freezer ice holder is full. Somehow you don't feel like your feeding water all the time either.
