[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A nice "bordeaux" blend of grapes. Dry, but fruity, with cherry, pepper, smoke hints. You can definitely get the rye barrel notes. Served it with some bolognese and found it went so well together, complimenting the flavors of the food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a fan of red wine, I prefer Cabernet Savignon as I feel like most blends are thin and non descript. This was not the case with The Robert Mondavi Private Selection Rye Barrel-Aged Red Blend. Aging in the barrel provides rich notes that give it more depth than it's competitors.
