[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Swirling it around in your glass you get this beautiful earthy scent, first sip is a delight with its multi layer flavor, light enough to be delightful rich enough to satisfy any wine lover. Each sip revealed an underlying flavor for me especially when we paired it with some of our spicy cheeses, Gouda with pepper, smoked pepper jack, we even had a pasta dish that night that we chose this one for. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wine is one of my favorites! The color is a nice dark red, blood color. The smell give hints of cinnamon, cherry, boysenberry. The taste is smooth and has a smoke finish to it. Tastes wonderful with cheese and steaks. Definitely a wonderful wine. I will purchase more!

While still an enjoyable wine, compared to the other selections it fell short. Thanks Robert Mondavi for allowing me to expand my wine tasting experiences.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Robert Mondavi Private Selection Rye Barrel-Aged Red Blend was a perfect balance between a sweet treat and a full bodied red wine. It paired nicely with a chocolatey dessert! I will definitely purchase this wine again in the future!

The taste can taste the fruit sort of sweet first then a bitter aftertaste. A bold aged sharp cheese would taste very good together or a possible sweet milk chocolate. Overall not a bad wine but not my favorite one either.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The wine is fresh and light with a smooth texture. I detected a blend of cherry, strawberry, and raspberry. The wine was complex as I also tasted a bit of vanilla & chocolate We enjoyed it while grilling out for dinner.

It was so dry I actually started a coughing and felt the dryness in the back of my throat for sime time. I tried it with sweets, meat cheese and fruit and it was better, but not enough to purchase in the future.

Still delicious but would only be able to have one glass along with cheese to reset the palate. Color is dark ruby and I was getting a nice finish Everytime for some a wine that has been liquor barrel aged. Well executed

I could taste the barrel. I'm not sure it's something I'd buy again, as I feel like it would be more for someone who enjoys whiskey and a thicker, more oaky red wine. It's a different and unique flavor of wine but it's sitll delicious and goes great with so many different dishes. It would be nice if it was available at more than one store in my area though.
