[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These bulbs are very appealing. They emit bright but soft light perfect for reading or just brightening up a dark room. Sturdy base as well. I always thought LED bulbs would be too dim but these are surprisingly bright but not too much so.

Although I cannot attest to the 13 year life (I dont think I will remember to do a review that far out). I can say the GE light bulbs I installed 7 years ago are still going strong.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I started my conversion from "old school" lighting to LED -- I have to admit I was using another brand -- however, I just haven't been completely satisfied. I decided to give the GE LED Soft White bulbs a try -- and I'm really glad I did ! There is just something different (and better in my opinion) about these GE bulbs. The temperature and quality of the light from these bulbs is just better to my wife and myself. I also LOVE the fact that these put out so much more light - - and save some much energy at the same time. Later today I will be going back to the store to buy more of these -- and start replacing the "other brand" !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] GE Soft White 60W LED light bulbs are great. I used it in one of my lamps. The light is soft. It's not super bright and harsh on your eyes. My lamp has a dimmable switch and the bulbs work great when the lamp is dimmed. GE bulbs last long based on my experience. They are also great energy savers.

After screwing the light bulbs in, they lit up. Works as advertised.

I am pleased with this bulb.

These are great for the price.
