I hated to have to give this only 3 stars. It was the best I've ever had, but they've changed something about it recently (I'm guessing) and it now tastes different somehow. Not nearly as good as it used to be. It's still got big, tender chunks of chicken and I still like and get it occasionally (used to get it every visit if available) it but it's just ok. Not outstanding like it once was. Best I can put it is it now has an odd flavor. I hope they read these recent reviews and start making it the way they used to.

We wanted chicken salad and thought this was the same type that Sam's used to make the Croissant chicken salad sandwiches they used to sell in the Cafe. Wrong!! It's a bit expensive, but there's a lot of chicken meat. You can't get a smaller amount so it's usually around $11-$13 per pack (it's priced per pound). The problem was it was way too salty!! We had to return it because we couldn't eat it. Too bad.

I picked up my order so wasn't sure how much I would be getting. The container was not full and filled 18 of the 20 pack small croissants. It needed to be cut up a bit as the chunks of chicken were rather big, but overall taste and texture was pretty good. Not too mayo-y and not dry. Personally too much onion flavor for me but everyone else really liked it.

Very good for a sandwich or just on crackers for a quick bit. It's definitely a must try.

I think they used a lemon pepper chicken. That's all I could taste.

This normally is really good but, this time the onion taste over powered it.
