Chicken chunks were too big. Also, It just tasted okay. I let the rest of it go bad. I won’t be getting it again. I like Food City’s chicken salad better.

Last time I tried this chicken salad it made me want more. This time i was rather disappointed. It had some of the skin from the chicken, hard pieces of chicken and lots of the pieces were to large. The overall taste was ok. Probably will not be buying any more anytime soon.

The mayo is thin an watery and has an odd and unpleasant taste that dominates. There is very little celery, and its chopped so fine that you can't taste or feel it. Most importantly, I got sick shortly (maybe an hour) after eating it. I'm guessing that the mayo was bad. But I don't think the chicken was fully cooked either.

I really wanted to like this, but i agree with previous reviewers. It has too much dressing, the chicken is chopped too fine, and there is little flavor. I added a little mustard, salt and pepper and was still quite disappointed. I ate two bites of my Sammy, then discarded it.

What it says. There isn't even enough celery in it, let alone "dressing", which appears to be plain mayonnaise. I bought this by accident because I though it was $5 for the whole package. NOPE. It's $5 A POUND. And they don't even bother to shred it properly. This appears to be made of leftover rotisserie chicken, except as far as I can tell it's all breast meat. Buy your own rotisserie chicken and shred it yourself because they don't do the job right, which they certainly should for the exorbitant price they charge. Celery is cheap. There is no excuse for the paltry amount of celery in this. The chunks are HUGE and rubbery. On several occasions I bit into pieces of the cartilage from the breast bone so they didn't even manage to properly debone it. Make your own. It could not POSSIBLY take any longer than it took me trying to doctor this stuff up to fix its obvious deficiencies. I ended up throwing more than half of it away because it simply wasn't worth the trouble. This can be described in a single word: YUCK.

Normally I enjoy the chicken salad. However this last purchase made on Sunday left a lot to be desired. It made me wonder if maybe I should stop buying it entirely. The chicken was pink, undercooked, and in big chunks. It was a they paid no attention to the shredding of the meat or the completeness of cooking. It made me worry. It also did not taste good. Yes I'm shocked I tasted it but after spending the money to buy it I wanted it to be good and it was planned as a meal. I'm very disappointed.

Love it. Always fresh and it's either hit or miss with flavoring, but it's ok. I add more salt, pepper and other seasonings to my liking if it is bland. This is not canned chicken either like some have said. I put this on a bed of lettuce, or on crackers to serve my guests. Great on croissants too!

I normally don't care for chicken salad that I don't personally make. :-) But, this is by far the best chicken salad I've ever tasted from a store. It has the perfect seasonings and the right ratio of chicken to mayonnaise! Just delicious. It was recommended to me and I've already recommended it to numerous others.

When Sam's started making this salad it was off the charts delicious. Today it is much better than the prepackaged containers sent into other stores, but not as good as it was. Little more salty, and doesn't have the "rotisserie" taste. I would buy it again, just not as often.

This chicken salad won’t change your life but it will ruin you for all the other chicken salads in the world. I do add something extra to it and try to chop the many huge chunks of perfectly cooked white meat chicken. Hot sauce, spices and pickle relish. But it’s good right off the bat. Seems pricey until you taste it.
