I bought it thinking it would be similar to other homemade chicken salad from other grocery stores. I found the flavor off-putting. I can taste the rotisserie flavor but the mayo was bland and detracted from it. I added a tablespoon of sugar to the entire container and helped it. I recommend to make it stand out more by bringing the flavor.

This rotisserie chicken salad is very tasty and deserves a five star review BUT it’s wayyyy too chunky! Why can’t your deli people chop it up finer or shred it??? You would hope that after the numerous reviews stating this problem that they would take it under consideration and at least try it that way or market it both ways so we can choose the one we want to purchase.

Love the rotisserie chicken and love chicken salad so when I saw this item listed I thought how can I go wrong here. Of course we all have our own tastes whether it's music, art or food. The flavor was "good" but my objections are that it was cut in very large chunks and only the white meat of the chicken was used. I took mine and cut it smaller and spiced it up a bit and it was quite tasty but next time I will just buy the rotisserie chicken and make it from scratch.

Used to love this but has gone downhill. Used to be made with mostly breast meat, making it a little healthier, but still had great flavor. Now has dark meat and other fatty parts in it, including stringy yellow fat and is very oily. Won't be buying again if it continues to look this way.

Have bought this numerous times. Need to suggest that the preparers cut up the chicken pieces smaller. some have been several inches long and 3/4 inch wide and do a better job of trimming the grizzle off. Also lacking a flavor, what does the word rotisserie make you think of? Just some input by a purchaser. Thanks for your consideration, I would recommend with some changes

I have bought t his Chicken Salad on several occasions...this is the 1st really BAD container. I say bad in regard to taste. It was bland...not seasoned at all. It was diced chicken with mayo. I bought it for a luncheon, but didn't bother to take it because I knew no-one would eat it. I didn't realize it in time to doctor it up myself. Had to make a second purchase - which was a platter of sandwiches from sandwich shop.I threw out the chicken salad. Never again! This review has Nothing to do with the salad not being safe to eat...just based on lack of flavor and taste.

Love rotisserie chicken

Finally decided to try this, because, honestly, how could it not be good? Yummy rotisserie chicken and simple ingredient list? I was sadly mistaken. The most bland tasting chicken salad I think I've ever had -- really needs some more seasoning. The chicken chucks were pretty huge, so had to work at mashing it up a bit to get the right consistency for a sandwich. Great for eating straight up from a bowl though. Initial impression: too many grizzly pieces -- how can you not avoid that with chicken breast? I also thought there we an awful lot of mushy fatty pieces for chicken breast, till I examined one particularly mushy piece and found it was mostly uncooked chicken I was chewing on! Gross! I'm sure it's not a common problem, and quality/recipe varies by store, but I could never bring myself to try this again.

So much salt that I had to spit out the bite I had in my mouth. I had everyone in my family do a blind taste test and asked them to taste it without asking the if it was too salty - everyone said it was MUCH too salty. I thought that since Sams club made the huge mistake of not selling the Members Mark chicken salad that is packaged by Sycamore Farms I would try this. Huge mistake and waste of money. Sams, bring back the tub of chicken salad made by Sycamore Farms

Unless you like your chicken salad to taste like the ocean don’t waste your money. It was so salty that not a single person in my family could choke it down. Because I’m a gluten for wasting money I actually bought this twice. I thought I must have just bought a bad batch the first time. Nope, the second time it tasted exactly the same, like salt. Don’t get me wrong, I like salt…a lot. I just don’t like it proud for pound in my chicken salad.
