I used to love your chicken salad. Bought some a couple months ago and didn't like it. Tried another yesterday and its awful. Will never buy again until you go back to the original recipe. The changed version is purreed with to much vinegar and mayo. No thanks.

This used to be go-to awesome, now... not so much. It's either too salty, or just out and out bland. The chicken doesn't have nearly as much flavor as it used to, it now tastes like defrosted frozen week-old dry chicken, mayo, and celery. Honestly, at $5.99 per lb., it's just not worth it.

Been buying your chicken salad forever at the Lenexa, KS store. Always good until yesterday. Bought some yesterday and it is completely different and not as good. Everything changed. The ingredients changed, the texture changed, everything changed. Change it back and we will keep buying it. If not, we will not be buying it any more.

Size is great, way too much celery though maybe add some shredded carrots. This is good if you don't have time to make any and you can taste that it's fresh chicken than from a can. Tired of all the chewy style of meats and want something that tastes fresh this is something to get quickly. Might want to add some pepper.

This used to be my favorite chicken salad and I typically bought a container whenever visiting Sam's, but now it tastes horrible! I don't know why Sam's felt the need to change the recipe, but I won't be buying this anymore. It is disgusting and tastes spoiled.

used to love this chicken salad but it is definitely not what it used to be - have tried 4-5 containers thinking maybe it was a fluke, but just got 1 the other day, and it's horrible. don't know why you changed it, but I definitely won't purchase this anymore - I will make my own sorry for the negative review, but plz go back to the way it used to be and then let us know

I always loved this product! Not anymore. The last 2 times I bought it..most recently July 10 2026, it was awful. It's now actually mayonnaise and celery salad..no chicken chunks...just strings of dark meat chicken. I never waste food but I actually threw this out as there was very little protein value. ..just mayo and celery. Will not be buying it anymore. so sad

What did you do to your chicken salad? I've been buying it for years. This time it was awful. The flavor was completely different and the look of it has changed. SO disappointed. It had an awful taste and texture. No one wanted to eat it. Ended up tossing it out. PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL RECIPE!!!

You can immediately tell that this chicken salad has a different texture. It looks more like a wet, canned chicken shredded instead of the old style, which more closely resembled their rotisserie chicken. It's very wet, it appears to have relish instead of fresh celery, and has a vinegar like bitterness. The aftertaste was terrible. My throat was burning. I'm so disappointed because the old recipe was so good!

I received a free sample for my honest review. I frequently buy Member’s Mark chicken salad and love it. However, this sample tasted different. It was a bit sour tasting- whether that was vinegar or dill pickle juice or lemon, I don’t know. But I didn’t care for it. Also, there was too much mayo. Hope they don’t discontinue the current one!
