Excellent Kale Pasta Salad

Mediterranean salad

Just happened to pick this salad up on a new whim last night…so glad I did! Super fresh and flavorful! I’m not a big fan of kale but it works really well in this salad because it doesn’t get soggy. The rich flavors of the sun-dried tomatoes, garlic and Parmesan cheese cover up the strong kale flavor. Run and get some!

Fresh, goes great with a protein

This salad is one of the best I've ever had.  Seriously.  When I go to my local club and they don't have it, I'm so afraid it's been discontinued.  Actually, I just bought some yesterday.  My husband loves it too.  Being a vegetarian, it's sometimes difficult to find healthy pre-made foods at Sam's that I can eat.  In my experience, this salad also stays fresh for several days.  Their caprese salad is delicious too.

Incredibly delicious

I buy this product quite frequently so normally would rate it 5 stars but when I purchased it yesterday, it is very gritty like the kale was not washed thoroughly at all.  When you pick fresh greens, of any kind, from your garden, you have to wash them a couple of times.  Now I'm trying to figure out how to return them without going to the store.

Surprisingly good!

Loved it in the past.  But the last few times I've purchased the salad have not been great.  There were too many kale stems that ruins the joy of eating it.  I've spent 15 mins picking them all out. In addition, ther is little to no feta chunks or parmesan cheese anymore, which gave this dish its unique flavor. I've had to add my own.  Its gotten to the point where i'm considering not buying it anymore, and just make the entire dish myself.

Not what it use to be...

This is literally the best salad I’ve ever eaten! Took away one star for two things - I’d like to see healthier ingredients like olive oil vs the oil that’s used, and I’d also recommend Sam’s removing every kale stick that can’t be eaten and only include the leaves. But over all, it’s great taste wise and I will continue buying.
