Everything I know technically about tires you couldn't fill a thimble with. So I will tell you what is important to me. The two things that are most important to me are safety and dependability which I continually get from Michelin tires. I think I echo the sentiment of most women. I have had the original M/S on my SUV for 9.5 years 110 kms.best tire I have ever had I finally replaced them 2 yrs ago and they seem to just as good so far.Whether I will get the same performance and time is yet to be determined but have been very pleased to date.Live in Atlantic Canada so we do get a lot of snow but I have had no problem to date with performance.

These tires are on our 2005 Class C motorhome. Although we don't put many miles on this vehicle, we have never had a problem with these tires. They are comfortable and give very good control and riding comfort. We had to drive during a period of severe winds and rain for about 5 hours, and we were amazed that we did not suffer any loss of directional stability or traction. Also, these tires appear to be resisting weather checking and any signs of aging. Tread wear is excellent.

My 2015 Escape came equipped with the worst (not Michelin) high performance tires on earth and literally were breaking apart in a short time. I was advised the Defenders were the best and I'm on my 2nd set. I've had Blizzaks on this car, but now that they're worn out, I find the Defenders do the job all seasons in Michigan!

Have been a loyal Michellin customer. These tire out performed by expectations for miles and ride quality. I was able to get 85,000 miles with limited rotation. The tires still had 5,000 to 10,000 miles, but with winter coming, it was time to change. Will always stay with Michellin.

I was suprised to see Michelin tires on my 2008 Ridgeline when I purchased it new. Even after 20K miles, they still look new. Smooth riding and good traction for our snowy northern Minnesota winters. I would definitely replace them with the same tires when needed.

This tire was recommended by my retailer on the basis of many satisfying customers over many years and it reputation for long wear. I was inclined to buy a more energy efficient Michelin like Latitude for gas savings but was told the LTX's wear noticeably longer and have winter traction advantages so I went with them and will likely spend more on gas and less on tires. I was not able to calculate break even points but know that I lost 1mpg compared to the last tires (not Michelins) on my vehicle. Overall I am very satisfied. I have 25000 miles on them on my Highlander with 9/32nds of tread left so it looks like I can expect about 75000 miles.

On my 06 Honda Ridgeline, these tires were OEM and lasted +100k miles. Since then I've replaced them with two more sets of non-Michelin tires and have hated them every mile. Now, at 225k miles, I've gone back to the Michelin tire and love them. I'd forgotten how quite good tires should be. They give me fantastic wet-road performance. Haven't yet been in the snow yet, but if they perform like my original tires, they'll be great. My advice, spend the extra for these tires. They're worth every penny.

I purchased this very set 7 yrs ago for my '95 Z-71 SLE GMC which has 270,000 plus miles and never been happier with a single set of tires. I have driven these tires for 73,000 miles and still have 3/16 thread left on them. Being the frist owner of this truck (and yes, it is in immaculate condition all original), it has never been off road, but it has been thru some severe snow storms and have passed several trucks when roads have been bad. As far as rain, I've never been more confident in a set of Michelin tires, than these.

I used buy the older LTX;s what great smooth riding and handling tire and mileage had them on 4 vehicles...now a set of these new LTX Defenders on my 2014 Pro4x Xterra, man these tires RIDE HARD and handing not great at all 15000 miles on them sidewalls are to stiff from on road driving..next time I need tire I"m going back to the BF GOODRICH that they came from the factory new.
