Just bought two of the Michelin defender LTX today. Love these tires , like night and day from the Asian tires I had. So very pleased, when I get the money I'm going back for two more.

These are the best tires we have ever purchased. We paid a little more for them but it was well worth it. We installed these tires on our GMC Yukon Denali when we had 20k miles on it and now at 115k miles its time to replace them. Very comfortable and quiet ride. Will definitely be purchasing these tires again.

Best light truck tires I've ever owned and I've tried 7 different brands/models. What most stands out is the wet weather performance and tread life - which are usually mutaully exclusive. I have 18,500 more miles that any previous tire. No flats / no problems / no degradation over time. Great snow performance and queit.

I owned a set of Michelin LTX MS on my previous pickup which I drove everyday for eight years to different construction sites. I was so impressed with the way the tire wore in the eight years I owned them I put a new set of the same Michelin tires on my next pickup which I have been running for three years now with little sign of wear. I shopped around a variety of tires for my Ford F150. After looking a lot of different brands and styles, decided I like the Michelin LTX best of all. The tire handles extremely well in rain or snow. Grips the road well. especially on turns. I feel very confident when I am on the road with this tire. One of the better tires I have come across in my years in the car repair business.

Replaced my Michelin Latitude Tour HPs (after 50,000 miles) on my 2009 Acura MDX with the four new Defender LTX MS. Have had them for only a month now, but really like them. Smooth, quiet, and seem to hug the road well in wet and dry conditions. Have driven them on highway and city....perform well in both instances.

After 20 years of buying Michelins, 1st time disappointed, very disappointed. With 20K of miles over 2 years, you won't want to drive these in wet or snow. Normal inflation checks & rotation was done. It was just amazing to me the dramatic decline in performance after 20,000 miles. Didn't notice any above average road noise & the Honda Element is a gas hog for a 4cylinder engine & 5-speed, so didn't notice gas mileage improvements or decline.

this is my 3rd set of ltx m/s tires, before that it was the x radial lt tires. I usually get 55 to 60 thousand miles out of a set. the sure grip in the florida rain. most reliable tire on the road. just bought another set about a month ago. Michelin tires are all I will run on my vehicles. I don't go off road, but we do road trips a lot. I especially like the temperature rating, they stay pretty cool, even after long distance on the interstates.

I have had several sets of these tires over 15 yrs of towing my boat following the Salmon runs of 2 Greatlakes. As the years gone by the boats have gotten bigger requiring heavier pickups to pull them. My current boat is 14,000 LBS and pull it with a single wheel GMC 3500 HD Diesel. I fish alot and towed alot, these tires are rock solid for the serious towing vehicle that tows more than a few miles to the ramp. They're not All-Terrain tires, All Terrains couldn't hold up to the heat and abuse these things are subjected to in my application. If you're looking for a long lasting heavy duty no worries tire for your investment this is it. If not get a set of nobby All -Terrains for the sound.
