I prepared soil as required fertilized distributed seed (40 LBS) with my spreader and watered for three weeks. I had a yield of maybe 1% grass and a lot of what looks like clover, not 100% sure what it is.

Seeded new yard with Kentucky 31 in South Carolina in the last week of March. 5 days and had nice patches of grass, 3 weeks later I have a full, lush, and green yard. I'm 100% satisfied, now I need to figure out how to best cut it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Happily, I received a bag of Kentucky 31 Tall Fescue grass seed so i can review it. I had a bare patch of dirt in my yard so sprinkled the seed as per the directions. In just a few days there were little green sprouts coming up! The weather gave us sunshine and rain so now the bare patch is pretty much all filled in. I will definitely buy this seed again!

Ive always bought Pennington, a great product with a reputation. I do not know what is with this seed. I put it down in mid March, covered with erosion blanket and watered twice a day. Were at april 24th nothing has sprouted. Glad i wasted money on 2- big bags. Stay away from this. Buy something better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This seed pack was very easy to spread on the areas I wanted and I have noticed that a week after planting that the seeds have started growing very nicely. I made sure I watered the area enough to get them going. They are making a good progress so far so I do expect over time it will create a beautiful bright lawn after seeing how well it sprouted.
