Comfort and quality

These all season MXM4 tires are great. I ordered these for my Nissan Altima 2019 because I’ve had various types of off brand tires and they have not lasted a year without an issue such as flat tire. I’ve gotten these tires early 2025 and it’s been over a year and over 20,000 miles driven with these (all 4 tires still intact). Rain or shine and I’ve ran into my share of potholes. These have been the best performing tires for me and comfort level is superb on these as well. Will forever re purchase. Worth it!!! A+++++++++++

Bye bye Michelin

Lousy wear. The first set came with car and got 35,000 miles wear. Replaced them with a a second set and they are ready down to 5/32 of tread in just 18,000 miles. They were advertised to be good for 50,000 miles. I used to respect the Michelin brand, but not anymore.

    Love them

I have a Scion FRS and it came stock with Michelin Primacy HP tires. I really liked them very good ride and grip for an all season tire. My tire dealer said to try these. I like these better, not as much side wall flex while aggressive cornering. Ride is smooth and quiet. Well done Michelin!

    Solid performance, quiet ride.

I've purchased Michelins before and have always been satisfied. My family has been riding on these for one year now, after replacing the factory Goodyears on our 2008 VW Passat Wagon. Right from the start there was a very noticeable reduction in road noise. Overall ride, handling and wet traction have also improved. This is significant, because we depend on this car, and these tires, to travel through Florida's intense summer downpours and along the twisty mountain roads of Western North Carolina. I didn't think I could be more happy with the five-year-old Passat, but with these tires it rides and handles better than new. And in typical Michelin fashion, treadware has been minimal.

    I researched LLR tires ...

I researched LLR tires and discovered these have it all - low rolling resistance, excellent handling, good ride quality, good wear rating. It transformed my already quick Subaru Forester m/t turbo into an even quicker better handling and more fun car to drive. You can actually feel the lower rolling resistance. Highly recommended.

    Pleased So Far

I just put these on recently so these are first impressions. I am a longtime Michelin owner for all our vehicles from SUVs to cars. First time on the Taurus. Against my better judgement, I put Continental Pure Contacts on first to save a few dollars. But after replacing 2 of the new Continentals and still not being able to balance them, I switched back to Michelins, which is what I should have gotten in the first place. Paid a little more but...you get what you pay for. The Primacys ride is smooth, they are super quiet and very responsive. I have only driven in dry and wet conditions so far but very pleased with their performance.

    Fantastic tire in all conditions

OEM tire on my 2013 Honda Accord Sport Sedan. Live in MI and have driven 25K miles so far in all four seasons. Feel completely confident in all driving conditions; never fear hydroplaning when wet or loosing control in snow. Tires are extremely quiet at all speeds. Tire wear is also above average. Had 9/32" left after 12K service and now only down to 8/32" after 25K service. Will not even shop around for another tire when these finally need replaced.

I would buy this product again and again

I have purchased this tire several times in my car owning history. I love the way my car manuvers and holds the road. They are a bit pricey but I know the tire and it is tried and true. I also like the fact that there is less road noise from this tire than others.

    Poor tread wear

These tires came on my new 2017 Lincoln MKZ. I only have 22,500 miles on them and the tread depth is 3/32. I have used Michelin tires on my other car (2010 Lincoln MKZ) and have gotten good wear. Must be some defects with the Primacy MXM4 tires. Will not be replacing with a Michelin tire. Looks as though the Yokohama tire has a great rating, probably will get those..........

    Good Performance, Poor Comfort

I have only had these tires on a new car, a Hyundai Genesis, since Mar,2016. Their handling and stopping performance has been outstanding. Their road noise level is really annoying, which is probably a result of the performance design. The ride comfort is extremely poor, with every bump in the road transmitted to the passengers. The tire are Primacy X4M4 245x45x18 96V, which accounts for the noise and ride issues we have. The trend by auto makers to ever larger wheels and low profiles for looks is the real problem. They should provide for different wheel sizes other than the set size for a trim package. You can go up but not down.

    LEXUS GS 300 2006

I've had Michelin Primacy mxm4 for about a week now and I am overall very satisfied with performance of these tires: Pros: -Much faster accellaration (amazing). Definitely made a difference, the car accellarates much faster -Excellent Breaking, smooth stop no rolling or skidding -Sticks to the road, my old tires used to slide from a smallest bump now they simply ride over any obstacle Cons: -The only thing that did not improve much is the comfort of the ride, I still feel the bumps on the road...it's not as smooth as I'd hope it would be with brand new tires. I like luxury and the feeling of riding on air, which some people might not but that is what I was going for with these Michelin's. No comment: Don't know about fuel efficiency as of y...

    Most satisfying tires.

Car drives nicely with these Michelin Primacy mxm4 tires. I am enjoying the smooth, quiet ride with good handling, tenacious grip on wet roads and long tread wear. I have accumulated 25,000 miles on these tires and they have more than fifty percent tread remaining.

Foam sound deadener comes off inside tires

This tire came stock on my 2021 Tesla Model 3. After about 30k miles the foam bands inside the tires came off and bounced around inside the tires. This made the car feel like the tires were out of balance. I had them checked and the foam removed and tires rebalanced. The real aggravation was it happened to one tire at t time, so I had to have this done 4 times. Also, tread life isn't good. I'm a passive driver and Im looking at new tires now after 35k miles.

    Improved the car's ride

I purchased the Primacy tires as a replacement on my Lexus GS 430. Not only are these tires handling extremely well, they have made a noticeable difference in the ride quality. The car has the handling package with the lower profile tires and I could tell the difference in ride quality between my car and my wife's GS. Now not only do I get the handling benefits but the ride is not nearly as harsh.

    Great when the tread exists

My car has always been more of a fleet vehicle as thats what it was bought for and I only drive it for work anyways except some weekends. After about 27k miles I noticed driving in the rain became more of a safety hazard and lost major traction, and at just under 30k miles there was no center tread left on any wheel which made me a little sad because I could not do a rotation. I don't exactly drive a performance vehicle so it's not like I've been doing burnouts or the like but still would've liked to have seen closer to that 45k mile mark with them. Other than that, they were great tires. Just wish there was some sort of warranty that could've been offered when told they needed to be replaced badly. Not looking forward to the all out of poc...

    Quiet

I am so much more happy with my Michelin tires than my previous tires. QUIET - I wanted a good performing tire that was quiet. I have a long commute to work and wanted a tire that would last and that was not louder than the radio. I'm glad I chose to go with Michelin tires.

    Michellin & Outback a marriage

I purchased a set of 4 Michellin Primacy MXCM4 (Green) 225/55R 17 for my Subaru Outback XT. Not only is the performance perfect for the Subaru AWD & 5 speed AT SI Drive, but it handles with the VDC extraordinarily for curves, especially for a wagon. Traction is superb and much needed, since I boosted the 4 cyl Boxer Intercooled Turbo from 260 hp to 340 hp, which allows for exceptional high performance within the city and highways. It is also a sleeper with its traction and 0 to 60 mph performance. Subaru factory should ship their new cars with these tires for their high performance and longevity.

    Poor handling

These tires came on my 2020 Acura RLX hybrid. I honestly thought there was a defect in the design of the car how could Acura put these in there most expensive sedan with almost 400 hp I drove the for 10000 miles and decided to replace them and see if the handling emproved.. o my god did it ever if you purchase a new car with these tires on it do your self a favor at purchase time of the car allow 1200 to replace them. This is the worst handling tire I have ever owned it was almost like a big old fat marshmallow when you turn into a curve the car had to wait on the tires to catch up I can’t believe they built a tire as crappy as these. I have there pilot sport on other cars I own and they preform very well but this is a discussing joke ...

    Surprisingly Fast Wear

Similar to other reviews here, these are the original tires on my 2019 Tesla Model 3. At 18,000 miles, I was quite surprised when the Tesla dealer told me I'm close to needing new tires. Sure enough the treads are getting close to the wear indicator on tire.

    Great all around tire

These tires came stock on my 2018 Dodge Charger GT,I currently have 28,000 miles on my car and I expect to replace these tires at 30,000 as they are getting close to the wear bars.I live in Buffalo N.Y. and I can tell you that these tires have performed very well in heavy snow .Summer driving is a pleasure as well because these tires are very quiet, grab the road on curves and are very responsive. It should be noted that I did not rotate these tires since they were new ,strangely they wore pretty much even.

Michelin Primacy MXM4 99V (All around great tire)

My 2018 Chrysler 300 Limited with 20" rims came with Firestone tires. I've always used Michelin because they ride better then any other tire I've tried. What a superior manufacture. The Primacy has it all for a touring tire. The 55000 mile tread warranty is at a testament to a well made tire.

Primacy MXM4- 2012 Acrua TL (Base)

This is my second set of Primacy MXM4's (P245/ 50R17) for my 2012 Acura TL (Base) model, which were replaced on 7-2-16. Through proper maintenance (rotation of tires between 5,000 to 6,000 miles and recommended tire pressure per manufacturer at 32 psi), I was able to obtain 63,000 miles and probably could have got another 5,000 to 7,000 miles (replaced with 4/32 " tread depth still available). My driving consist of a mixture of highway and city driving. The ride comfort and wet traction is excellent. I can't speak well on snow traction being in NC, but when snow and ice were present, the Primacy MXM4s held up well.
