Comfort and quality

These all season MXM4 tires are great. I ordered these for my Nissan Altima 2019 because I’ve had various types of off brand tires and they have not lasted a year without an issue such as flat tire. I’ve gotten these tires early 2025 and it’s been over a year and over 20,000 miles driven with these (all 4 tires still intact). Rain or shine and I’ve ran into my share of potholes. These have been the best performing tires for me and comfort level is superb on these as well. Will forever re purchase. Worth it!!! A+++++++++++

Bye bye Michelin

Lousy wear. The first set came with car and got 35,000 miles wear. Replaced them with a a second set and they are ready down to 5/32 of tread in just 18,000 miles. They were advertised to be good for 50,000 miles. I used to respect the Michelin brand, but not anymore.

Not even 24k miles and need replacing.

Bought my Avalon 2 years ago and have less than 24k miles on it and tires are at the wear bars already. Regular rotations and air pressure adjustments, needless to say are not enough. Sad part is it's been 23.5 months...I shouldn't have to put tires on it in less than 24 months. I've always like Michelin tires until now. Guess I'll start looking elswhere for tire products. This is a very poor respresentation of what used to be a good tire manufacturer.

    Rides like a Dream

This tire was purchased for my 10 year old Honda pilot. The car maybe old but with this tire it rides like new. I had another brand the last time I got tires and the ride does not compare. I did look it up and compare others' reviews to make my decision.

    THESE ARE GREAT TIRES !!!

HI: I got rid of a "NEW" 6000 miles! Hyundai Elantra That was to small for me after my 5th. Back Operation. I traded it in for a 2004 "26,000" mile MINT GRAND MARQUIS ! I didn't even look at what Tires were on it, but I just checked the Tires for Tread wear. To my surprise, when I got HOME I had a Set of MICHELIN PRIMACY MXM4's on my Car !!! I have Driven these Tires for over 25,000 miles now and they are GREAT !!! I Drive to the Doctor and to Play Golf. And these Tires deliver in RAIN or Dry conditions. You can corner as Hard as You (or the Car) Can GO, No slipping or sliding - Just Dead Track Perfect !!! These Tires STILL LOOK LIKE NEW WITH OVER 50,000 Miles on them. I Have nothing Bad to say about these Tires !!! I get a soft, but firm R...

    Nothing Like a Michelin!!!!!

I had xxxxx tires on my car that were pretty costly and everytime the weather conditions were somewhat unfavorable, I almost didn/t want to drive because I just didn't feel safe! I finally jsut thought enough I have always had michelins' and the performance is superior to any tire. so I foun the tire that was best for my car and had them put them on and what a difference. now I feel safe the car handles the curves like a dream it just hugs the road and when it rains I don't feel like it's going to skid. It's nice to have a really nice looking car, but if you don't have a great tire on that car (MICHELINS') then the car won't habdle properly and you might as well not even have that car!! My father always told me you want a good tireand a saf...

    Difficult to fix

Those tires are standard on the Tesla Model 3, and generally speaking they seem to do a fine job... until you run over a nail and attempt to get the tire fixed. Because of the inner acoustic foam, most tire shops will not even attempt to fix those tires. I found a reputable (large US chain) tire shop who was willing to patch the tire. Unfortunately, after just a few days the tire was loosing pressure and after re-evaluating the tire fix, it turned out that the fix didn't work. Now I had to replace a tire that was less than a year old. I've owned many cars and had the unfortunate pleasure to get many nail punctures fixed and never did any fixes fail with the exception of this tire :(

    Love these tires so far,

Less than 1000 miles on so it's hard to tell how they will wear. Really love the ride the give and secure feeling. I am concerned somewhat about some of the mileage complaints customers had and there where several. Guess time will tell, but if they are anything like the Michelin's I had on my truck years ago, I will be more than happy with my choice. My tires get rotated about every 5000 miles. Which was done on the previous Tiger Paws, but just changed them with 35000 miles on them and highway miles 80%. Tires wore even, I had the alignment checked and corrected before I purchased the Michelin's even though the alignment was not far off.

    Wonderful Tires

Lexus came with Michelin MXM4 Tires Standard. Michelin tires have never let me down! I believe best tires made. Just put a new set on my Genesis G80, comfortable, smooth, grip the road, all around awesome tires! On my other automobiles Michelins! Previous Michelin’s include Hydroedge, Defenders, and MXM4s. Safe, long lasting, high quality....absolutely the Best in my experience! Thank You Michelin for Safe & High Quality Products!

I have had Michelin tires ...

I have had Michelin tires on my cars for the past 39 years. My first set was on a 1971 VW Square Back. These were some of the first radials to be sold in the US. Ive had Michelins on my cars every since. Its a brand that has never had quality issues and is a name you can trust. Its my tire of choice.

poor tread life, good on everything else

Tires are above average in terms of comfort, ride quality, and traction in dry and wet conditions but suffer tremendously in tread life. Just a little over 28k miles, a bit over half the manufacture's claimed 55k life, and will be needing replacements. Still undecided if I will get these or something else

    Poor tread wear

These tires came on my new 2017 Lincoln MKZ. I only have 22,500 miles on them and the tread depth is 3/32. I have used Michelin tires on my other car (2010 Lincoln MKZ) and have gotten good wear. Must be some defects with the Primacy MXM4 tires. Will not be replacing with a Michelin tire. Looks as though the Yokohama tire has a great rating, probably will get those..........

Tire with replacement needed after 21000 miles

This tire came on my 2018 Lexus 350 ES. I have approx. 21000 miles on the car and my tires are down to the bar that indicates that I need 4 new tires. I have been researching tires to purchase and realized that these tires should be getting many more miles than I am getting. My driving is on paved roads by my home. I don't understand why I am getting so little mileage on these tires, but I would not recommend them based on my issue.

    Amazing cornering; improved mpg

I purchased the MXM4 for my 2008 DTS. I wanted a more "aggressive" look so I went one size wider. I did insure that the oversize would not impact my steering ability. I was totally amazed at the cornering and the improved handling at highway speeds (70-80mph). What really pleased me was the improved mpg due to the tires improved "rolling coefficient". Although all of this was great, the best part was the look they gave my DTS. The DTS rolls down the road now with attitude. Not bad!

    Riding on a Cloud!!!!

It hasn't been a thousand miles yet since I purchased these amazing tires for my 2002 Acura TL with 130K miles...I tell you it's like driving a new car...I really never thought a tire can make that much of a difference...these tires are made to roll without resistance. It feels like you're driving on a CLOUD….and my gas mileage is up…the trick is to keep the PSI just under the recommended…so my recommended is 32 PSI…at 31.5 PSI…the mileage is amazing…I'm actually filling up less now....thanks Michelin!!!!!

Shame Shame Michelin; Shot at 23,000 miles

Would give Zero stars if possible. These tires came with a new Model 3. 23,323 miles later, constantly properly inflated, driven conservatively, and they are near bologna. These are THE worst tires manufactured since the steel belted radial in the 70's

I would buy this tire again and again.

I was researching tires as a replacement for the noisy and rough-riding ultra-high performance tires on my 2008 Infiniti G35X. I wanted a tire that would preserve the crisp handling the performance tire had along with a smoother quieter ride. In other words, I wanted it all! Well, the Primacy MXM4 comes satisfyingly close! The handling is only a titch less crisp and the ride is much much smoother and quieter! Winter traction has been unbelievably great! But, after 3 years of wear on the Primacy's I'm faced with tires that will be fine for another 2 summers, but not one more winter. I will definitely buy the Primacy MXM4s again and next summer switch back the current ones to finish wearing them out.

    Not holding up

I have a 2018 Tesla Model 3 with only approx 18,000 miles and Tesla said I already need new tires. After reading the reviews I realized I'm not the only one who's having this problem. These tires came with my brand new Tesla Model 3. After researching the tire because I already need a new set, you're saying the tires that I need to replace have a warranty of 50,000 miles? That simply isn't true and it's no wonder why Tesla doesn't offer a warranty on them. I'm really confused.

    Ride Improvement

Great tires! Replaced the OE tires with a set of Primacy MXM4's and ride, handling and braking immediately and substantially improved on my 2010 Ford Fusion Sport. I've used Michelin tires before and have never been disappointed with their wear life and performance.

Primacy MXM4- 2012 Acrua TL (Base)

This is my second set of Primacy MXM4's (P245/ 50R17) for my 2012 Acura TL (Base) model, which were replaced on 7-2-16. Through proper maintenance (rotation of tires between 5,000 to 6,000 miles and recommended tire pressure per manufacturer at 32 psi), I was able to obtain 63,000 miles and probably could have got another 5,000 to 7,000 miles (replaced with 4/32 " tread depth still available). My driving consist of a mixture of highway and city driving. The ride comfort and wet traction is excellent. I can't speak well on snow traction being in NC, but when snow and ice were present, the Primacy MXM4s held up well.

    The best of both worlds

These great tires came with my new 2012 Toyota Camry SE V6 which along with the premium rims really dress the car up nice. But more important than the looks and appearance comes the performance and dependability and trust that comes with the Michelin name brand. I drive with full confidence and peace of mind knowing that my new car is equipped with these top of the line Michelin tires.

    Good Looks Great Wear

The Primacy MXM4 236/45R18 98W T0 were OEM on my 2019 Tesla M3. It has been almost 3 years (6/19/2019) and 41,200 miles and the tread is still good. I expect to get 45000 miles out of them. The tires have a good feel and perform well in cornering and in rain. There is some slight inner tire wear but l have not had an alignment done since I bought the car. I have rotated the tires roughly every 8000 - 10000 miles. I drive pretty fast on my commute as it is 90 percent highway but l also take it easy in the corners because if you are not careful you can eat up your tread-life pretty quickly in a Tesla. I just ordered a new set from Costco today. I would recommend these tires to anyone.
